This book is full of quick, easy projects that are great for a beginner. The stitches are simple and instructions are clear. The book, if purchased new, is overpriced. The photos are also in black and white and are of poor quality. Overall the book was nice, especially for someone learning to crochet.

Very easy to understand and has a customer service telephone number to inquire of any stitches not understood. Good selection of patterns and designs. Will use this over and over.

well this was the first pattern book i ever purchased and i made plenty of cute little booties for my little girl and one pair for a friend. i found the instructions easy to follow, and if there was a stitch i didn't know there is a chart in the back which is very handy. it would have been nice if it had color pages but at least you have a color picture on the front and back covers.
