This book is full of quick, easy projects that are great for a beginner. The stitches are simple and instructions are clear. The book, if purchased new, is overpriced. The photos are also in black and white and are of poor quality. Overall the book was nice, especially for someone learning to crochet.

Very easy to understand and has a customer service telephone number to inquire of any stitches not understood. Good selection of patterns and designs. Will use this over and over.

well this was the first pattern book i ever purchased and i made plenty of cute little booties for my little girl and one pair for a friend. i found the instructions easy to follow, and if there was a stitch i didn't know there is a chart in the back which is very handy. it would have been nice if it had color pages but at least you have a color picture on the front and back covers.

This book seems to be 12 variations on one basic bootie design. However, it is a good bootie design, and there is a cute sandle and mary jane version. I guess I was just expecting more.

I purchased this book because I fell in love with the Mary Jane style booties and thought that they would be perfect to include with a blanket as gifts to friends. The patterns are simple to follow, but I couldn't use the size hook that they recommended.

When I did use the size hook they recommended they turned out HUGE! The instructions said that it should be the right size for a 3-6 month old, but I think my 2 year old niece could have worn them. I had to go down 2 hook sizes to have the pattern turn out okay. It was pretty frustrating to have to pull them apart twice just because they recommended the wrong size hook.

I know that everyone will crochet a little different and some people's gauge is tighter or looser than others. However, my gauge usually matches almost perfectly with what patterns say, so I don't think this was just user error.

This book has some cute patterns, but is definitely not worth the full retail price. Thank goodness I found it cheaper on Amazon.

these are cute and fun to make they are really easy but they are a little big they dint stay on babies under 8lbs unless you adjust the pattern i used sc instead of dc for the sole and sides

I ordered item November 16th, was never contacted about the order until AFTER I sent an e-mail end of December asking where item was. Response was I would be reimbursed for the item, then 2 weeks later, was sent another e-mail telling me that they would NOT refund my money, but would find another supplier. Hence I had already made a review/rebuttal and can not add/change my response/review. Good thing it was $6.00+ and not a large amount of money this company ripped me off of. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!
