I just downloaded this to my Kindle Fire, and it *looks* really nice. Beautiful color pictures and the patterns are easy to read. The magazine content is really great - worth five stars. However, the way it works on the Kindle Fire is only worth one star.
The print is quite small on the Kindle Fire, and I have to enlarge the page to read it. The problem: each page has to be enlarged individually - when you 'turn' the page, the print shrinks back down. This can get annoying after a few pages.
The major problem: I shut down my Kindle, and when I powered it up again and opened this magazine, it started downloading again. Apparently it didn't remain on my device when the power was shut off. I tried it a second time to see if the first time was a fluke, and it happened again. I don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that I have the free trial version rather than the purchased version. But if the magazine doesn't remain on my Kindle when it's powered down, I won't be keeping the subscription.
