International Addresses: Magazine subscriptions offered at Amazon.com can only be shipped within the 50 United States, APO/FPO address and U.S. Protectorates. We are unable to process magazines to other destinations at this time. Please contact the magazine's publisher for further assistance.

When to Expect Your First Issue: Magazine subscriptions ordered at Amazon.com are shipped to you by the magazine's publisher. The first issue of a weekly magazine should arrive within 4-6 weeks of your order. The first issue of a monthly magazine should arrive within 12-16 weeks, unless otherwise noted.

Once you've placed an order at Amazon.com, it can take one to two weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the publisher's next production cycle and shipped via standard mail. For example, if your monthly subscription was ordered and received by the publisher in November, and the December issue has already shipped, your order may be added to the January mailing. You can find out more information, including how to contact the publisher about your subscription, in Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager.

Renewing Your Subscription: If you are ordering as a renewal to the same name and address as the current subscription, the publisher will add the Amazon order to your current subscription. Please note that the expiration date in the Magazine Subscription Manager will not reflect if you were already on file with the publisher. We will work with the publisher to ensure that you still receive all of the issues left on your subscription.

Publication Frequency: Magazines which show "irregular" availability are those which are not published according to a regular schedule. If you place an order for such a magazine, you will receive new issues as soon as they are available.

    • Control your subscription settings anytime using Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager.
    • If you purchase the auto-renewal offer, your subscription will renew for the same term length at the renewal rate available on Amazon. Cancel anytime.

3.0 out of 5 stars Crafty crochet magazine April 27, 2008
    By Crystal
    Subscription Term Name:1 year
Crochet World is more "crafty" than other crochet magazine and stays with more conservative styles in wearables. Some of the recommended yarns aren't my favorites, but you can always substitute and I sometimes re-imagine them to suit myself. If you like crochet stuffed animals, seasonal decorations, baskets, rugs, doilies, etc. this may be the magazine for you. Not my highest rated crochet magazines since I prefer more wearables and modern patterns, but this magazine has its own special niche.

4.0 out of 5 stars Look beneath the surface... October 10, 2012
    Subscription Term Name:1 year
When I first looked at Crochet World magazine, it struck me as my grandmother's crochet magazine--dated patterns for products that no one under 90 would ever make. But as time went on I found it to be the magazine I returned to over and over again. Why? Because it has patterns for items you actually use in your day-to-day life, because it has patterns for items that are quick and easy to make for gifts, and because it actually interacts with the readers, answering questions and offering advice. And if a pattern looked too hokey at first glance, I invariably found myself coming back to it as a reference for something else--if there was no way that I would ever wear that scarf, for example, I would soon find myself needing to know how to do the stitch they used to make it. The other magazines usually had items I found visually appealing but realized I would never bother to make, so what was the point? I spend a fair amount of time going through each crochet magazine before I buy it, making sure that the patterns contained within have something I absolutely must have, and I don't always buy the same magazine--or even buy any magazine at all. But Crochet World is the only crochet magazine I ever had a subscription to, and the one I keep going back to for patterns, stitches, and ideas. I recommend that, if you're curious, you do a free trial to see what it's all about, and look it over with an eye toward whether it fits your individual needs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crochet World Rocks! September 22, 2006
    Subscription Term Name:1 year
This is the best crochet magazine on the market today. Not only does it feature a variety or crocheted patterns, it uses easily found material that are not ultra-expensive. I love their columns and designers. I especially like the Crochet Potpourri column that lets me write in and ask other readers for particular patterns. They have been publishing for over 25 years and boy, do they do it right! I tell all my crocheting friends about this terrific magazine.

5.0 out of 5 stars for certain tastes only October 6, 2011
    Subscription Term Name:1 year
I am one of the people who enjoys Crochet World magazine. It does have patterns that are dated, as in, inspired by yesteryear. If you like classic style and throwback doily patterns, you will like this magazine. It's not for everyone. Check out an issue on a newsstand and you'll be able to tell right away if this is your kind of magazine.

    5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE this magazine November 20, 2014
    By Karlylo

I LOVE this magazine. The directions and pictures are easy to follow and great for beginners even on a pattern listed as "Intermediate". There's always something new and practical and not the same old, same old thing you often find in other magazines. Also, the yarns they use are not obscure and can usually be found at Hobby Lobby, Jo-Anne's or Michael's. Even Walmart! I have enjoyed this magazine for years and have yet to find something to complain about.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lacks style January 1, 2006
    By Leisha
    Subscription Term Name:1 year
I have picked up several copies of this magazine at the newstand. I have not bought one copy. The patterns in the magazine lack style. They also use rather unflattering and uncomfortable yarns (eg scratchy hairy synthetics for ponchos). I have not seen one item that I would make.

To subscribe to "Crochet World" you must enjoy making and/or wearing items such as a mulit-coloured jumper with crayons crocheted all over it. But if, like me, you cringe at the thought, check out "Crochet!" magazine.

Easy to follow and understand patterns with pictures showing the results. Extra bits of information and ideas that are entertaining to read. Much easier to use than the digital version.
