Great for singles, too!,
This review is from: Crock-Pot 3735-WN 3-1/2-Quart Slow Cooker (Kitchen)
I'm single and live by myself, and I have found that this Crock Pot is an excellent way to have a really nice meal waiting for me when I get home from work. I can make enough to last a few meals, but the Crock Pot works great even with a smaller amount of food -- you just want to make sure you've got plenty of liquid in there. I use my Crock Pot all the time, and it has worked perfectly from the moment I took it out of the box. It is also quite easy to clean; even if you forget to clean it right away, a bit of a soak with hot soapy water does the trick.

This is an excellent product. Crockpot is small enough for 1 but big enough to cook for a group. The outside of the crockpot stays cool to the touch while it makes your dinner.Everyone should have one of these!

Buy only Rival!,

I have an older version of thed 3.5 quart crock pot, with nonremovable stoneware and no cool touch. It's great! Removable crockery is good for easier cleanup, though. I have tried other brands, but only Rival Crock-Pots work just right. After all, they are the original! This size is great for one- or two-person households, or for desserts and side dishes for larger households. Accessories are available: meat rack, small bake pan, dust cover, insulated carrying tote. I love coming home to a cooked meal at the end of the day, when I'm too tired to cook. It's great for making cooked fruit jams, fruit desserts, bread pudding, rice pudding. Of course, beans, soups, and stews are also excellent. Meats are better browned or seared before putting in the crockpot, to avoid that hospital food texture. The recipes are also much better than the 70's onion soup/liquid smoke/canned condensed soup variety. Let this "little old lady" cook for you all day!
