I really love the Croc's! They are all my neighbors rolled into one - I think even a few have followed me into work once and a while. The never give up attitude and dogged determination makes for a book that is just fun to give (which I plan on), read and laugh out loud. In these times we all need the comics to see some humor in life. Of course I would like to have the book be thicker, but that is true of all of the Pearls books. Buy this book just for fun - and enjoy.

This little jewel of a book is just what the doctor ordered for all of the fans of Pearls Before Swine's looney Croc Fraternity. Just the hilarious introduction is worth the purchase price alone.

Another great feature of this "Book o' Frendsheep" is that each strip in in vivid color. It brings the Crocs to life even more. I just wish the book was longer because the Crocs are so dang funny.

Loved this one so much, I'm going to buy another one for a friend, lol...

If you are looking for a great gift for your best friend, this is it! It is wacky, but will also tell them in a subtle way that they are your BFF (Best Friend Forever). Hand me a Kleenex.

While I like the comics Pearls Before Swine, this book is just too thin to be enjoyed. Maybe that's why it's mentioned on the cover that it's a gift book.

The cartoons inside are fully coloured. Most of the cartoon strips are printed on one page or across two pages. That's minutes of reading time.

This book features a collection of Crockydile related cartoon strips that have appeared in the dailies. So there's really nothing new in here.

Personally, I will go for the typical 128 page yearly collection books or treasuries. I believe they make better gifts and are more worth the money, even if they are printed in black and white.

I have most of the Pearls' books. I mistakenly thought this was another compilation but it's not. It's funny but short. Great discussion material for the coffeetable.

I just love these guys!! I wish Pastis would use them more in the strips. I find the dark, sleazy humor to to funny! This is a stocking stuffer in my circle.
