This review is from: Crocodile Tears: The Larger Than Life Story of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter (Paperback)
By the title and picture I thought this was going to be a factual book written by a person close to the story. Instead it was written by a fan. Which would have been nice had it not cost so much and not tried to tell a story that needed to be told by someone close to the situation. In reading the forward to the book I am under the impression that Terri Irwin herself rejected this person and her ideas as apparently Terri was contacted numerous times right after the accident when she should have been allowed to grieve. As a big fan of the Crocodile Hunter (Steve Irwin) and also being introduced to the family, 2 years after the fact, I felt it was in poor taste.
