**UPDATE 12-12 Many, many miles of walking on a gravel road and these are the most durable croc soles I've ever had. My old crocs have 'treadbare' soles but these don't seem to have worn down at all. I have a problem wearing sneakers and getting toe cramps so although many would say these are not great for your feet, if it gets me out and moving, I'm all for it!**

I have to say that I've worn Crocs for many years and love the comfort for my very wide feet.

However, there are two drawbacks to Crocs. One is that they are not the most attractive shoes. I'm always a little embarrassed wearing them out in public so I try to limit my exposure with them. Second is that the sole is not very solid so it wears down quicker than the average shoe. I often walk with them to pick kids up after school but our road is not paved, it's gravel so the rocks start to poke through the well-worn bottoms of my older Crocs.

I was very pleased to find this style with a tougher sole in fact the entire shoe seems to be made of a more durable rubber. The shoe itself still has a wide toe-box but it's not as bulky as the 'beach clog' model. There are no holes directly in front of the clog either so that stones don't have a direct route in but there are still holes for air circulation.

They are comfortable to walk in and seem firmer in support but still traditional Croc squishy comfort.

Time will tell if they hold up after a lot of uses but this was a great price at $40 compared to the $49.99 retail price in a Croc store.

I've been wearing Crocs now for 7 yrs. I have big flat wide feet, plus a severe back disorder, & the Beach Crocs worked perfectly for me! Then Crocs made them narrower & shorter, so they didn't fit me so well until I went up a size. Now Crocs has stopped making the Beach Crocs, so I've had to find a new style. I've tried the Classics, but I just don't care for them like I did the Beach Crocs. Some people don't realize either that Crocs has different places that the Crocs are manufactured, such as Boulder CO, Mexico, China, Italy, & Canada, & with each place they're manufactured, the shoes fit & feel different.
So in my quest to find a new Crocs style, I tried these, but I wasn't able to wear them. While the fit is similar to the Classics, with the extra durable sole on these, it hurt my back too much! I tried them on & had only walked about 10 ft when I found that they were killing my back & hips! I really liked the colors of the parrot green & white bottom, but the inside was not so cushy, & the sole was really hard! I need shoes that are supportive, which these are, but they have to "give" a little when I walk, which these didn't. BTW, my Podiatrist said that Crocs shoes were a good shoe to wear, & that they had a good arch support. I have found this to be true, & love Crocs, but I just can't wear this style. I hae tried the Crocs Duet Sport Clog & they are awesome!

The fit on this pair is a little bit more 'true'--the same size in the classics gives my feet a little too much room. This is just a little narrower throughout the foot and the toe box is not quite as flared. The sole is tougher material and overall the feel is a tiny bit firmer. There is still some contouring on the inside though not a lot of arch support (I have high arches so I don't actually feel any) but the layer against the foot remains the normal comfortable croc material. All this, for my foot, improves the fit and the feel. My size is M7/W9, I'm not sure if a guy's wider foot would be as happy with the fit--check the website for the fitting guide to be sure.

Comfortable, easy on-easy off, so ugly they are beyond style, tough enough to last, can take any amount of weather or mud, and the closer sizing allows for the occasional sprint across the yard when the dog has a sudden case of hearing loss before rolling in something stinky. Plus, if I get the stinky on the Crocs I can just hose them off.

Great shoe for slipping on and running around the yard or even out for quick errands. Highly recommended!

My first purchase of these funny looking shoes was several years ago. Since then I have purchased 5 pairs, and have my wife wearing them also. I never expected much from them, but maybe to wash a car in. Boy was I wrong, they are the most comfortable shoes to just slip on and wear anywhere. The Duet has an extra long wearing sole, but retains the soft interior heel cup, and wonderful arch support. These shoes are addictive.

Love them. I wear a 12 in other shoes but ordered a 11 which fit perfectly. love these crocs. They are as comfortable as other crocs I have owned and seem more durable and stylish.

Smaller than previous pair purchased from Amazon. One pair manufactured in Mexico; one pair manufactured in Vietnam. 1/2" difference between crocs labeled as same size.

i wear these around the house and property - somewhat of a farm setting - and they are great. they can get wet, dirty and easily hosed off. some gunk does get stuck in the partial cut outs under the heal in the sole (not the full cut outs around the front), that area is slightly harder to clean, but not that bad really. they are comfortable to wear and so far have held up to the gravel road.

SIZING: i already knew my size in crocs as i've worn them for years. these fit great, though, i wear a 14 in running shoes and 15 in hiking boots. but in crocs i wear smaller sizes - size 12 in crocs for me works well.
