I have terrible feet, plantar fascitis flare ups, bunions, wide and flat feet. i dislike the classic clog, they are so unattractive, and refuse to wear those anywhere but in the yard. but when I tried the shayna crocs and walked in it a day it was great.....UNTIL.... a red spot developed in my instep due to the strap fastener irritating the inside of my feet... my heart sank and thought what will i do with the 6 pairs coming my way.. to all of you who have had the same issue as mine, i found an excellent solution... i cut a long rectangle of super moleskin plus (you can use dr. scholl brand or your favorite drug store equivalent.... but instead of sticking it to the inside of your feet, cover the circle that fastens the top strap to the inside....and viola!!!!! no more redness no more potential blister because the irritating disc is covered with soft cushy moleskin plus....my cute and comfy shoes are back and I love them. incidentally, i am a size 7.5 to an 8. i purchased an 8 and they are perfect!!! couldn't be happier, until another color shows up. i now own 7 pairs of these and love them. i found these initially at a croc outlet where they had a buy two get one free. but very limited selection..blue, petal pink, and brown.

update:
of my many shayna pairs (7) only one rubbed my instep. it must have shrunk due to heat. so i tried the heat and remold method and it works. i no longer need the moleskin stickie on the strap fastener. they are comfortable for my fussy feet... i have heel spurs that flare up, bunions, flat feet and these shoes look cute and are very comfy. i wear them in the house too. i should have tried crocs sooner! i ordered the marnie and malindi looking forward to reviewing those.

I love these! I am not a huge fan of the "traditional" Crocs. I have narrow feet, and feel like a lot of the more traditional Crocs are too wide. I do love the more feminine styles, and these do not disappoint! Very comfy and feminine. I wear a 7 and these are true-to-size. I will probably end up putting these in the dryer for a bit; to improve the fit. I highly recommend!!

I was skeptical about purchasing Crocs as my daughter has a pair of the classic clogs and falls everytime she wears them. However, I needed a pair of "Camp shoes" and these fit the bill. My husband and I do a lot of backpacking and these are light weight enough for us not to think about whether or not we really need to take a pair of comfortable shoes to change into. They are perfect in camp with socks and also good for light river crossings. I purchased the Mary Janes particularly for this reason as the top strap provides a bit more security in the water. I wouldn't recommend them for strong river crossings as they can be a bit slippery and are still loose (go Teva for that). These shoes have gone with us from the North Georgia Mountains, to Yellowstone, to the Inca Trail in Peru and up to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. At home, they live in a basket beside the back door and I wear them out the water the plants, play in the yard with my daughter, run quick errands, etc. They are not highly fashionable, but the are quick and serve thier purpose. I definately recommend these shoes.

I love the lightness and durability of crocs, especially how you can just flip them on, walk a lot without discomfort and wash/wipe them down if they get dirty. The only problem with all the crocs I have is they are not attractive and make my feet look like cinder blocks. AHHH- the shayna did not dissappoint. Unlike the bigger, wider cut shape of the original crocs that look like garden shoes, these are a more narrow, cut closer to the shape of the foot. So no big giant bubble feet. They also have a strap at the heel that , like many crocs is really where your foot ends , not all the way to back of heel. I have a narrow foot but wear a 6.5 - 7. I went with the larger size 7 and it was perfect. The back strap does not move but the strap across the foot does. If you have a very wide foot this narrow cut may have some points where it could rub ( can use ones advice and cut moleskin and add inside) but I would order up a half size if in between and if have a very wide foot may want to try up a full size. The cotton candy color was soft and not at all like a little kids shoe. I cannot tell you how comfortable, light, cute these are and the rubber adds a cushiony feel to the sole. When you walk your foot may move a little forward toward the top front of the shoe- another reason to go up a half or full size to accomodate for this. Crocs are not supposed to be tight on your foot , a little wiggle room is good. I was very happy with this purchase but shoes are one of those things you need to try on as our feet vary, but this style is a bit more narrow in cut so order up if curious. Great return policy if not pleased- and I believe the shipping was free.

This size 8 pair was strike three on a very disappointing attempt to replace my old MJ Crocs. I am a standard size 6, and I just bought a pair of the fabulous Ginger Crocs in size 6 - which fit perfectly. But the Shayna MJs were so small in a 6, I couldn't get my foot in; the 7s were still too small, and although the length of the 8s was acceptable, they were too narrow. In the attached photo, the shoe on the left is one of my original MJ Crocs (size 6), the shoe on the right is the new size 6 Ginger, and the shoe in the middle is the size 8 Shayna. What were they thinking??

These crocs are wonderful. I am a half-size, but my 1st crocs were given to me by a guy. He washed them and they shrank to my size, 9.5. Tried ordering the 9's but they were not comfortable on my age-battered feet because my big toes just touched. Having had a bunion, I got a 10. Put them in hot water, then the dryer. Forgot they were drying, but they came out at about a 9 1/2. One seems a smmidge smaller, but it could just be my foot (its had some problems recently). I wore them around today again and have worn them out once. I also wrap a ribbon over my foot and back thru the back strap for an extra strap. Bought the black, using a pale peach ribbon. Bought the black because that was the color that shrank before. These shoes are very ventilated and cool, also. Wore with thick tube knee-high socks last night and the left one stretched to "perfect". So happy to get this free & easy shoe that feel good on the tired "dogs". They're real cute, too. Plan to order some of the crocs boots next.

love crocs, love the invention... great comfort,BUT be careful!! I order my true size and have to cut off the back strap, it make your foot go to the front and touch the front of the shoe... very uncomfortable, without the back strap, they where good but look awful...you're wondering why i don't order a size up ?... I did ! and its too big..I am in between sizes in this style, what a sad thing.

I've lost my old size 7 Mary Jane crocs and was delighted to replace them...until I tried them on. Not only was the style a bit different (only the top strap was hinged, the back was fixed unlike my old ones) but they did not fit at all like my old ones. Too short, too tight (right at that strap hinge) and a big disappointment. They are just waiting for me to figure out how to return them.

I bought these shoes to wear while camping because I'm not a fan of flip flops or most sandals. At first I loved the shoes because they were very comfortable while walking on a flat surface. I tried them on at home and wore them around the house for a couple days. When it came time to go camping, I noticed immediately while walking around in more of a bumpy terrain (i.e. anywhere outdoors) the shoe was rubbing on the arch of my foot. At first I thought maybe I was just getting used to the shoe or something, but within a few hours I had 2-inch-long blisters on the same area where the shoe was rubbing. I normally wear an 8 1/2, so I ordered a size 9, which was very comfortable (roomy, but not too roomy). I know the size I ordered was not an issue, and more of an issue with the shoe material.

I stopped wearing the shoe because of the blisters, thinking maybe I just need to break the shoes in and I'll wait a few days to wear them again. Unfortunately, while camping in a tent, I left my shoes outside and didn't think to put them in my tent during the day. The sun shrunk my crocs at least one size. I put them on my feet the next day and it was a struggle and they ended up being too tight.

The shoes are a cuter version of the crocs clogs, which I also own. The shape of these just didn't work for me because of the blisters they caused. I have never noticed my other crocs shrinking in the sun, so these might be a bit thinner than the clogs.

Basically I had this shoe for two days and it blistered my foot horribly and the next day shrunk in the sun. These were a waste of money for me. If you're not planning on only wearing these shoes inside, I just can't recommend them.

This reviewcrocs Women's 11212 Shayna Sandal is for Shayna silver Crocs, I ordered them through Amazon.

Nice neutral color. Bought these before in black. Great shoe. Love the color "silver" as well. Just keep on wearing the black, though, out of habit. Will wear these lots in Spring!

Thought I would add, it is now March and I am wearing these shoes. They are great. I cut them with sissors to create open toe, and loop a ribbon around the ankles. If the strap is loose you can use a ribbon around the ankle from the back strap The ribbon helps secure them because the straps are loose for some otherwise. Going to try to add a picture of how they now look with the open toe (I had a toe operation -- this works well and is comfortable if you like the look).
