I found this product on the shelf of a local drug store. I had been using a much more expensive prescription medication to treat my ulcerative colitis. I have found that the Digestive Advantage therapy is more effective in the treatment of my disease at a fraction of the cost of the prescription medication. I would recommend that anyone who suffers from colitis or crohn's disease try this product.

I am hesitant to write this review because I would hate to give anyone false hope. I know colitis is a weird disease, what may work for one person may not work for another. I was just diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and I have been feeling awful for the last year. Before my diagnosis, the doctors told me it was because I had my gall bladder removed and my bile gets emptied into my intestines too fast. So I lived with bad stomach pain and constant diarrhea. Well they finally go to the problem and as I stated before it was U.C. I started taking this product 21 days ago and it is the first time in a very long time I wake up with out that awful stomach pain and I am going to the bathroom twice a day instead of 20. I'm not 100% cured, but this little pill has been nothing short of a miracle for me. It is inexpensive, so I say to all those suffering. Give it a try. To be totally upfront, I first bought another product from this company called Sustenex and started that. I then started to research on the internet and saw that they made something for crohns and colitis patients. I called the company and they said I can still do the Sustenex if I wish, however they instructed me to take them at least 6 hours apart. I take the Digestive Advantage in the morning and the Sustenex at night. I also take Fish Oil and a multi vitamin. No drugs as of yet. I'm still pinching myself and I hope I don't wake up from this dream of feeling like wanting to live life again. Thank you to the makers of this product, it is literally changing my life.

When doctors prescribe asacol all theyre doing is lowering your bodys natural levels of inflammation. there is usually something causing the inflammation, and this beneficial bacteria this product has is spot on for me. I had used the garden of life pribiotics before, and they work well. these pills here are much smaller and much more effective, for whatever reason. i think the gol ones are just the beneficial bacteria- thats why they take 2 weeks to start working, but eventually work pretty well. these digestive advantage pills seemingly have two parts, part of which give you results almost overnight. by the time your done with one box, your body is well on its way to maintain things on its own again. last time i used one box of these for one month and i didnt need any medication for the next year and a half. i just recently bought a new box, and two days later i once again have my energy and appetite back. they are truly a real option, there is no bull to all these feedbacks.

I have never taken the time to right a review before. I just wanted to let people who suffer from IBS or nonspecific diarrhea know that this was a miracle for me. I had gotten to the point where I was afraid to eat away from home because the stomach spasms and diarrhea would start even after eating just a small amount. It had gotten so bad I found myself staying home or just not eating when I was not near a bathroom.

By the second day on this product I noticed a big difference. After a month I was tremendously better. Now after three months on the product

[that I combine with the Acidophilus Pearls also sold on Amazon] I am almost normal. I still have some loose stool in the morning but the cycle of stomach spasms and using the bathroom every time I eat is GONE!! I can even eat ice cream again.

I have to start off with saying I have has UC for 11 years now and have been on so many different meds. Currently taking Remicade and Lialda, alongside these and Culturelle. I have noticed a difference in my stool and how I feel which is good. I will say this though, I have (and was told by a dr before testing) stopped taking my normal does of Lialda and when with just these and Culturelle and can tell you first hand it is not the only solution cause I felt sick but again my stool didn't show it. I went back on the Lialda and felt well again. It is different for everyone because we all have different bodies and some of us have had the illness longer and been on meds for so long. Again give these a try because it might actually help you so much to where you don't need to take meds anymore which is great. Again these are a big help in a health digestion system and happy with my purchase.

My daughter has Chrohns disease and has had surgery, been hospitalized several times and treated with all the prescription meds that come on the market and even at least one during clinical testing. I ordered this the first time for her to try while she was in an especially bad flare up. She says this is better than any prescription med she has ever taken without side effects.

I have suffered with this ailment for well over 30 years. Although medications have greatly improved over this time, there is no single cure-all for flare-ups! I highly recommend Digestive Advantage for Crohn's and Colitis because I believe it has helped me reduce the severity of my flare-ups. I purchase my Digestive Advantage on Amazon.com because I have found pricing to be much more affordable this way. If you have Crohn's or Colitis disease I highly recommend you try this product.

This is a great product, but one you will need to use LONG TERM to achieve results. It took a full week before I noticed its effects, and it doesn't work if you persist in gobbling foods known to produce inflammatory responses (such as dairy). However, for anyone who has colitis, this pill can be nothing short of a miracle.

With the proper diet, it helps to restore some semblance of normalcy and pain relief from this chronic ailment.

P.S. You should not take this if you are on anti-biotic therapy. You will need to finish your course of antibiotics before resuming. Also, if you are already on vitamin therapy (with a doctor), look into Digestive Advantage's Irritable Bowel pills. They contain similar probiotics without the additional vitamins.

this is a great product. I have celiac disease and lymphocytic colitis. The first week I took one pill, then as recommended, took two and am now back to one a day and think it is really helping.

I have been on this product for years and it has been an important component of my daily vitamin regimen while coping with Crohn's. I have been off any medications for 9+ years.
