Editorial Reviews

This "Coulter-free Zone" blog is founded by John Amato and features political and other current events commentary by liberals and progressives for liberals and progressives. It frequently references The Daily Show, Hardball, and Countdown with Keith Olbermann.

Kindle blogs are fully downloaded onto your Kindle so you can read them even when you're not wirelessly connected. And unlike RSS readers which often only provide headlines, blogs on Kindle contain full text content and images, and are updated wirelessly throughout the day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent October 7, 2008
This is a great Blog. Updated twice daily. Don't update afternoon edition until you've read the morning edition because it deletes from your kindle automatically. I like that, but I have learned not to turn on my web access until I am done reading the first edition. The format is very easy to follow. Articles can be skipped or just read the article list and choose which to read. Not overly biased at all. I actually find it pretty fair and well rounded. I got the 14 day trial and have been reading ever since. I even have it sent to my 17 year old's kindle since she is such a political junkie! Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Witty, on target, and insightful July 28, 2009
I lean pretty far to the left, so this is my cup of tea. I love how these writers challenge the make believe world of the far right with fact, not fiction. Look forward to it everyday.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes me smile April 28, 2012
I always smile when I see this cheekily named blog refresh on my Kindle. It has what some call flava and others call personality. Personality AND passion...along with perceptiveness. Rare.

I write blog reviews for the The Kindle Blog Report.

I'm a Republican, so of course I don't agree with any of the authors on this blog, but it's important to read both points of view (or should I say myriad points of view) and see where everyone is coming from.

It's interesting to see a fact - an unchanging fact - and then read how its interpreted on right wing blogs and left wing blogs. Interesting insight into human nature.

For other political blogs, let me point out The Rush Limbaugh Report and Sarah Palin News Report.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars but not on a kindle January 11, 2010
Crooks & liars is one of my favorite blogs, & it would seem, ostensibly, that it would be well worth $1.99 a month to receive this otherwise free blog, conveniently delivered to & formatted for your kindle. Unfortunately, during the 14 day free trial, the blog only updated 4 times.

5 starts for the blog. 1 star for Amazon.

3.0 out of 5 stars If you lean
If you lean far right, then you will enjoy this blog, just like the far left blogs. I prefer not quite so much spin. I'll stick with the news blogs.
