5.0 out of 5 stars Crashes well!, July 8, 2009

This review is from: Croozer 737 Single Child Bicycle Trailer (Blue/Grey/Black) (Sports)
This trailer crashes really well! My daughter and I were recently in a bike accident where someone opened their car door as we were riding by and their door met with the trailer wheel. My bike kept going and the trailer stayed with the car. The wheel of the trailer was completely bent, the spring mechanism that connects the trailer to the bike was uncoiled, and both the hook up and the safety hook up were ripped from the hitch, but my daughter remained safe and contained within the cab! I came away with multiple injuries and she didn't have a scratch on her!

I completely recommend this trailer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great trailer, February 10, 2010
This review is from: Croozer 737 Single Child Bicycle Trailer (Blue/Grey/Black) (Sports)
We've only had a week so I can't speak to its durability but the quality of the materials seems it was made to last. The hardest thing in the assembly was unpacking the box. Switching between bike trailer and stroller is quick and easy. I haven't tried the jogging stroller accessory yet but it looks very straightforward. Using the trailer itself is pretty easy and we're looking forward to lots of family bike trips.

We had considered the Burley trailer. They seem very comparable in the level of quality. However, the Burley requires buying 2 separate accessory parts which cost $100+ each to switch from trailer to stroller or trailer to jogger. That made it much too expensive for us.

5.0 out of 5 stars Croozing with "B", June 14, 2009

Upon the anticipated arrival of the Croozer, it more than met our expectations. It was rated for a 1 year old, but our son has been riding in it comfortably since he was 5 months old. He gets so excited and happy just getting in it, knowing he is going for a ride We use it as a stroller because it is so much easier to handle with one hand than our regular stroller. We take it to the supermarket and the farmer's market because it has a huge space in the back to put all our groceries.
When we did take him on his first bike ride, it was a smooth ride. I would just suggest to make sure you pull down the plastic shield to block your baby from anything that might fly off your tires. It depends on the kind of tires you have, so just be aware.
You could easily buy a Chariot or a Burley for much more, but why would you? The construction seems more durable and all the accessories are included unlike those others which you have to pay extra. I will recommend this to anyone. My son gets a lot of attention when he is in this because it is a very cool looking ride!!!

We bought this trailer last spring and had some great rides. Connectors make switching between mules (parents!) easy. It seems complicated at first, but once you get a feel for all the clamps and connectors, it is a breeze. We bought the full kit with stroller and jogger wheels, and my only negative remark is that jogger mode is not very fun to be piloting. The wheel is stationary and it is cumbersome to manuever. But this a bike trailer first and foremost, and it is great at that. Daughter was riding comfortably from 12 mos, but she has always been strong for her age. Cabin is cozy and she has no problem with slippage. Need flat backed helmet, however, because head rests flush against fabric seatback. But most importantly, I feel like we are all safe.
