I love the pattern, rich colors (browns, golds and reds) and designs on this comforter. It fits the mood and decor of my entire home, a subdued, comfortable elegance. The only disappointment is that the material on the top of the comforter bunches somewhat, which I did not expect from this brand. It's not enough to make me return it, but less expensive comforters I've had have had much better tailoring.

I ordered this comforter for a spare bedroom and I love the quality of the product. I ordered some other comforter sets to try a few different styles and this comforter won hands down. My husband even liked this one over all the others. He usually has no opinion! The construction of the comforter is excellent. It has corded edges which give it a very rich look. It is a heavy comforter so it will be great for our cold Minnesota winters. It is over-sized so it hangs down far enough to meet the bed skirt completely around the queen size bed.
I would definitely recommend this comforter set and think it deserves five stars.

Very thick, quality comfortor. The colors are just as they appear in the picture. I would definitely buy this all over again! Very pleased.

I LOVE this comforter!!! First of all, it looks very luxurious. The colors are rich and the chenille threading is elaborate and adds interest. Also, it is very thick. My husband was skeptical about it at first because we had a thick micro-suede comforter before this and he liked the weight and warmth of the old one. This one is actually THICKER and WARMER!! It's over-sized and easily covers our bed-- It even seems big enough to cover a queen with a pillow top. The back of the comforter is a pretty gold. This set really looks great and stands out against our chocolate chip brown accent wall. Another fancy detail is the 'braided' cording along the edges. It makes it look very expensive. My ONLY complaint is that I'm not a fan of the bed skirt pattern. It's a pattern right off of the comforter itself, but it almost looks like too busy of a combination. (But that's just my taste). Seriously-- treat yourself to this set. I've gotten so many compliments and am definitely glad I splurged on it. =)

Absolutely beautiful comforter set. The fabric has a rich, expensive look and feel to it. I deducted 1/2 star because, as another reveiwer mentioned, the comforter fabric does not lay smooth but puckers a little. Even with that small dissapointment it is still wonderful! I bought amazon's Pinzon 160-gram flannel sheets in Camel and they look great with the comforter. A red fleece blanket (it was hard to find the right shade of red, but I found a good match at Target) works great with the comforter too. Definitely recommended!

The colors in this comforter are beautiful. The fabric also has different textures, which is interesting. One is a chenille golden brown that I matched with a chenille fabric from local shop and made a table cover. I was fortunate to find several matching shower curtains at local off-price store and made a square to cover table top and valances to cover sheers to match that same golden color. HOWEVER, the sewing that is done to hold it together, at the edge, the fabric bunches down and covers the cording. And of course, it is the side that faces the bedroom door. I turned it and put the top at the bottom so that does not show when walking into the bedroom. We never sleep under our comforters so this does not create a problem at night. I believe this is a quality control issue and should not be in a Croscill set that is not inexpensive.

The reds and golds don't pop like they do on the photo. The colors are much more of a blend in person. It has an overall dark feel with the browns being the most dominate. It is a medium thickness, not flimsy feeling like that of some at lower prices, but not the heaviest I've ever had either. The fabric has a smooth feel and I feel better about the material then that of my last comforter. It was also a patchwork design and the seams on that one came undone in many areas from pulling of the covers at night, and the fabric didn't lend itself to holding restitching very well. I feel the fabric on this Crosill comforter should not have that problem. I purchased the king size which does hang to a nice length on all sides. I agree with another reviewer that the bed-skirt isn't that attractive. It is the gold scroll pattern of the comforter. The Shams match the comforter pattern exactly, which also seems like to much. I won't be using any of those pieces. Probably overpriced, especially if you opt not to use the included extras.

The comforter arrived without any issue and it was packaged very well - then again it's very rare that I receive any packages from amazon.com that aren't packed well.

The colors are vibrant and really warm up my bedroom. The comforter itself is slightly larger than the queen sized comforter that was on my bed previously, which is great - it hangs low enough on the sides to where it reaches the bed skirting, which looks great when the bed is all made up.

The quality of the comforter definitely exceeded my expectations. I'm usually a stickler for quality (my sheets are all over 800 thread count) and I figured this would be a good middle of the road purchase. While the cost was the middle of the road, I feel the quality exceeds what I paid for, which makes me feel doubly good about this purchase. In more detail, the comforter is pretty heavy and the insides of the comforter seem to be very evenly distributed, unlike lumpy comforters i've had before. The little rope & threading on the edges of the comforter are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also feel to be of great quality as well.

All in all, I would definitely buy this comforter set again - heck, for the quality I would be willing to pay even more than the $199 it's going for at the moment!

This was more than I usually spend on a comforter. I have dogs that love to lay in the bed and bedding just doesn't seem to last all that long, so i had a hard time spending a bunch of money on a comforter. However, the quality of this one is amazing, I can tell it's going to last a lot longer than any of the others I had. I did not buy any of the matching pillows or curtains. I just couldn't spend 40 bucks on one throw pillow, however, there are so many colors and textures it was super easy to find throw pillows that look fantastic with this set. I am very happy with this purchase. The colors are very rich and beautiful just as shown in the picture.

This comforter looks great. It seems to run large. I bought a king which usually fits my queen waterbed best, and it's too big. The quality is nice and I don't have any of the "bunching" other reviewers have mentioned.

I find this too heavy for sleeping in the summer. It is very thick. If I still lived in Wisconsin, I would like this more, but in the south.....it gets flipped down a lot.
