Celebrate the holidays with the beautifully handcrafted Crosley BK310 ballroom music box. Featuring a selection of eight holiday and eight all-time classic melodies, the music box adds a touch of merriment to any social gathering. The box is made of hand-rubbed hardwood veneer, a material that looks elegant and holds up durably through the years. The interior is delightful as well, with several dancing figurines pirouetting elegantly around a classic ballroom dance floor while the music plays. The scene is augmented by a soft backlight that illuminates the dancers. To change melodies, the listener simply removes one of the resin music discs--each detailed with ornamental lithograph renderings--and adds another. A final dash of style stems from the glass-enclosed lid, which lets you watch the discs as they spin beneath the combed teeth.
The music box, which comes in an attractive burled walnut color, includes an AC adapter and a velvet carrying pouch for the discs. And at 10.25 by 7.75 by 9 inches (W x H x D), it takes up only a minimal amount of space on a cabinet or table. As with all Crosley products, it's backed by a 90-day warranty.

The sound this "Musicbox" makes doesn't sound at all like a Musicbox. It should have a higher pitch and notes that are pleasant to the ear. The volume can't be controlled (it's too loud). And with 15-20 seconds per music selection before it repeats itself, you will go nuts before you've listened to it for even one minute. Bad sound, too loud and with constant repetition, I had to return mine even though I lost 40% of what I paid in shipping charges and restocking fees. Listen before you buy one of these.
