5.0 out of 5 stars Attracts Attention Attractive Retro Realistic & WAY COOL !
This guy is a winner. I picked mine up after season last year when it was discounted. I had been wanting one for about a year before that. This Jukebox is loud (for its size) and clear. Has the bonus of CD player and after a few minutes the bubbles start to flow on either side of the machine's neon sides. Just like the old-style bubble jukeboxes of yesteryear. It...

3.0 out of 5 stars Really nice looking radio BUT......
I bought this radio because I loved the way it looked and I had been wanting one since I first saw them. Since I have purchased other Crosley items over the years and have been for the most part satisfied with their products, I was rather disappointed with this item. I will admit, it's a beautiful radio, looks great! The CD works just fine, too. BUT....this is a RADIO...

It definitely attracts attention in the room when turned on. I consider it a very good quality made electronic device. Crosley is not known for junk. I think any time you can pick up this item for under $100 you got a deal, but over that I would consider upgrading to a bigger Crosley jukebox system. If you can't afford to own or have the space to have a full Jukebox, this desktop scale version is IT! Love it!

great sound and appearance. Bought for a child's birthday gift. More appropriate for an adult because of durability.

I say one more star better if it had an aux input for a mp3 device. Then it would be perfect. My dad got this for me two years ago for Christmas. Not our taste to be honest but it was cool, too cool to do away with it. It's now out in the dinning area of the house and I use it more often than I thought I would. Like I said though, if only I could plug in my ipod it would be perfect! :)

BUT....this is a RADIO after all, and that is why I purchased it. The reception on this radio is absolutely TERRIBLE! The stations drift frequently, which is rather annoying. (BTW, it does have nice sound if you can get it to "lock on" to a certain station. Good Luck).

The so-called "FM antennae" is nothing but a little black wire which comes out of the back of the unit. I would have thought that with all the advances in electronic devices, they could have come up with something better than this little crappy wire. Well, these "Antennas" were on table/desk radios 20 years ago, and they didn't work then and they still are worthless! I talked to an engineer friend that works at a local radio station and asked his advice if there was anything I could do to improve reception. He made several suggestions: Move it closer to a window (did that), attach an external antenna to it (I bought one of those wire "T" antennas, and had a friend solder it onto the little crappy wire. Improved a little, but not much. Since there is no jack on the back of the radio, I can't get a better, upscale antenna that could simply plugged into the jack.) I have a friend who is rather handy with electronic devices, and he offered to install a jack for me. Which I might do.) Kind of a pain in the butt.

I live in the Chicago suburbs, so the radio stations here are not some low-watt weak stations.

Anyway, I have an older, smaller, cheapo table radio that I put on my desk to replace this one, and lo and behold, the stations come in strong and clear, no drifting, nothing! Great reception. This one doesn't even have a crappy black wire on it!!

I did attempt several times to contact Crosley for some advice or suggestions, but surprise, surprise, never heard a thing from them! (e-mail, phone calls, etc.)

So, if you want a radio that LOOKS nice, this is the one. However, if you want a nice looking radio that has nice reception, avoid this one like the plague.

I was rather disappointed in it. Now I'm looking for something else. I want to get an antique/vintage style because that is how my home is decorated.

**sigh**

5.0 out of 5 stars Crosley Retro Jukebox, December 30, 2011

This is our third Crosley radio purchase and we have yet to be disappointed. They are known for their retro style record players, turntables, CD players, jukeboxes, radios, phones, clocks, and even music boxes. We purchased this particular piece as a Christmas present for a man who collects 1950's memorabilia. He LOVED it! Once he unwrapped it and got it out of the box, he quickly plugged it in quickly tuned it into one of the FM frequencies. The item pictures does not do it justice because it lights up really bright. I was really impressed on how clear and loud the speakers sounded.

This Jukebox CD player is extremely unique and an "eye catcher", great conversation piece.

5.0 out of 5 stars CROSLEY JUKEBOX - BEST VALUE AND QUALITY, May 24, 2011

Crosley beats the competition as always. High quality product. Love the bonus lighting, which has an on/off switch. The light does not have a moving effect on this model. That is the Crosley "Bubbler" jukebox.
Have owned 2 Crosleys... see uploaded photo. My first countertop jukebox was a radio and cassette player, no CD. Although I do miss the chrome select-o-matic version, this art deco CD jukebox is awesome. No disappointments.

We purchased this jukebox to sit on the table of our 50's diner booth. The sound is great and the quality of the unit is exceptional. It's a real plus to our 50's rec room. Our "oldies but goodies" CDs sound great on it and it looks just like the original Crosley juke box. We definitely recommend it. You Baby Boomers will love it!

Was a little timid on ordering a jukebox for 100 bucks. Figured it would be of cheap quality and probably return it. But much to my surprise this lil Stereo packs a punch. All the Controls are kinda hidden and the radio controls are covered for a real sleak appearance. Sound quality is great but would be good if we have controls for the bass, treble and balance.Still great non distorted sound! All and all this jukebox is awsome. Great quality, a real conversation piece when friends come over. My mom liked it so much she ordered one for her house. Great Buy!!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars what a shame, February 26, 2011

When it was taken from the box and plugged in it did not function properly. We did not open it for over 30 days as it was a present and I had contacted the company that provided it to me and they have yet to advise if they will accept it on a return. I have always had a good experience buying through amazon until I bought this product.
