The turntable plays 33 1/3 12-15% faster than it should on my model. The speakers are also throughly mediocre sounding for such a large system. All and all, a rather dissatisfying performance.

Listening to this radio is like going back to Grandma's house and waiting on Sunday dinner as Big Band tunes fill the room.

The performance of this radio is something to experience on a Friday night with friends, grandma and the family dog. The receiver pulls in lots of radio stations from all over the country and I even picked up a station in Beijing China near 540 Kilocycles (Kilohertz). When twilight arrives the stations come out like millions of stars on a summer's night.

Both the AM and FM bands are very sensitive and pull in lots of stations day or night and the turntable does a great job of playing the old stack of records.

I would recommend this radio console to anyone who likes good music.It can easily help set the mood for a romantic evening or a gathering of friends over for a good time.

Break out the refreshments!

Got it.
Unpacked it.
Plugged it in.
Nothing happened.
What can you say about a new product that won't even turn on? Must not have been tested at the factory.
Do I want a replacement? Not on your life.
