Product Description

Color: Mahogany

Expect to become obsessed with the superior sound of vinyl after you discover the CR6005A Tech Turntable. The sharp-looking yet user-friendly Crosley plays 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm records and even boasts an analog AM/FM radio as well. Built-in stereo speakers make listening simple right out of the box. The mirror face plate, retro wood styling and 1970's-style dust cover adds an element of retro chic to any room in the house. Not that you'll be worried about dcor when chords of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" hum from the turntable's speakers after years of being trapped in a box in the basement.

Well it's been less than a year since I've had this turntable and now the record player part doesn't work at all!

I usually don't write a review on items that I have purchased but I want to warn others on this one.

I have been doing a lot of research and have waited for this to hit amazon so i could get rid of some gift cards. But sadly when it hit my doorstep and i opened it I was surprised in the wrong way. The material and plastic is very cheap and looks and feels cheap. The plastic bends easily on top. Putting on my first vinyl on it I noticed that the turntable wobbled a little but didnt think anything of it. After a while it started to make a grinding noise of plastic on plastic. So i had to take it apart to adjust the belt. This worked for a while but had to do it again. No problems since. The sound is not bad at all and reaches a good volume point. Still could be louder. When hooking up external speakers or output the sound looses quality and has little to no bass. Overall I am disappointed with this product and hopped for a lot more for $80. Because I feel like its worth $40 at most. Just cheap, maybe i should have done more research or gone to good will. Crosley.. you disappointed me.

This record player was cheaply made and a piece broke off about 10 seconds after taking it out of the box. What you can't tell from the photo is that the record player is not big enough to fit a record- it hangs over the side, unsupported while the dust cover has a chinzy cut out so that the cover can close while the record is playing.

So, I did play a record on it and out came a terrible squeaky sound that continued while the record played. I promptly packed it up and sent it back...

I saw alot of bad reviews for this Record Player and I still bought it. I was good for the price. People said that it broke right away cause they didn't read the instructions. Read Instructions!! My record player plays smoothly and sounds great! If your tight on money I recommend this player. Speakers aren't very loud but it has a stereo output and I have it plugged in to my sound system. The lid does close when you are playing records but cause its small the record sticks out on sides.

Very disappointed in this product. The front plate is a very thin plastic piece that was peeling back from the unit. The turntable squeaked and was unbalanced. The tuner knob was hard to turn and the speakers didn't work at all. I received the lemon of lemons and wish i would have read the other reviews (which i normally do) before purchasing this item. Returned this one...fast.

I did my research on record players and read many reviews. I was originally going to by some other brand that is suppose to be the best one under $100. I ended up getting this one instead because it has the AUX, and built in speakers. This is my first record player ever so I do not need the super expensive, top of the line record player. I just need something to play my Ipod and records, it is also a radio. I like how if I wanted to use other speakers I can. I can use headphones also. ONE THING that I do not like at all, is it is very very very cheaply made. The plastic, part where I had to connect the top, the lid pivot point. one side broke off in the process of trying to put it on. The player is light in weight. Also, the aux cord that hooks up to your mp3, I decided to use the one I already had, the one it came with I had to turn in a little to play the Ipod, the cord might have a little short in it. It did play, but I should not have to even turn the cord. Like I said the player was cheaply made, and I am sure the aux cord that came with it is an el cheapo also. BUT the turntable as a whole is good for a starter record player, eventually I can upgrade. For now this is cool. I like it since it is my first record player.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. when she opened it, and put a record (brand new, not warped) on it, the turntable was totally wobbly and the record looked warped. Needless to say she was completely devastated. On closer inspection, the turntable was actually not even attached at all, and lifted right off to display a cheap belt drive system that looked like a pile of junk. I immediately returned this product to Amazon. (still waiting for my money back, actually) Quite frankly, I am surprised that Amazon sells this garbage. Do not buy this. And if I had read the reviews preceding mine before I had bought it, I never would have.

If I could rate this player with less than a whole star I would. I just received this for Christmas today and right out of the box it started making this horrid screeching noise as soon as the turn table was on. We thought maybe my album was warped but album after album it kept screeching and wobbling. Turns out the whole turn table is warped and wobbles like crazy. DO NOT BUY THIS. It's a waste of money. Please & thank you.

This came in really quick - 2 days. And it worked.. just not well. The turn table dipped which made the record squeel every few seconds. I don't know if the one I got was just defective or what, but I returned it.
