I had bought this item to give to my in-laws for Christmas. Needless to say, they are loving it. It provides good sound quality with every option, from the FM/AM radio turner, 3-disc CD player, cassette player, to the turntable. I thought since the turntable did not come complete with a tone adjuster of its own, it would be lacking; however, the albums sound great and do not need any adjusting. Plus, the classic look of the cherry wood box adds an element of design that fits perfect in one package. Did I mention the sound quality - I am very pleased with the purchase! It has been only a few months in use, and hopefully will remain in good condition.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Mom. Unfortunately, the CD part stopped working the first day and we had to pry the door open to get the CDs out.

After a couple of calls to Crosley tech support (who, in fairness were very polite and tried to be helpful), we all came to the conclusion that it was a lemon and the only solution was to send it back to Amazon for a replacement.

For the day it worked, it was pretty nice. A very attractive piece .. the cherry is pretty ... with a decent sound .. though don't expect the quality of a high end stereo system. All in all, a nice system for the price that blends in with traditional decor. However, since mine didn't work, I can only give it two stars.

I was worried about getting another unit that didn't work, so opted for a refund. I may end up re-purchasing locally. Not sure yet.

Three cheers to Amazon for making the return process easy. Customer service even offered to refund me for the CDs that were stuck in the machine if I couldn't get them out.

One note about speakers. Crosley has many variations of these entertainment centers. Some have auxiliary outputs where you can hook up additional speakers and some do not. If you intend to do this, beware .. this model (at least in cherry) DOES NOT. Read the specifications carefully.

I liked this product however please be aware that the sound quality isn't remotely as good as a modern stereo or home theatre system especially in the volume and bass department. I choose to hook up a couple of quality speakers to my unit which was easy and I really enjoy it now. However others might not feel that way. The actual unit is beautiful and very easy to use. I am happy with my purchase however please be warned that the sound quality/speakers it comes with are not that great.

i bought this as a birthday present for my father. he and my mother went nuts for it,and it stands proudly in their living room. they also bought another one to go on the first floor of their house as well!

Very nice! Looks terrific and has everything you could want...radio, CD player, casette player and phonograph with 45's, 33 1/3 and 78's all playable!

It is an attractive piece of furniture but the cd part didn't work. Soo Amazon replaced it with another one. That one didn't work either for the same reason. Amazon said they would return my money but when I considered that the radio and the turntable and the audio tape worked ok, for $200.00 and it looked good, perhaps I was expecting too much. Therefore I kept it even though it doesn't completely work.

I have an extensive vinyl collection and was very excited to receive this product. Unfortunately the cd player does not work and I will have to return it. The motor makes a whirring noise, and it does not read or play the cds. I read some other reviews where it actually ate some users' cds, It just seems very cheaply made, which is a shame considering it could be a really great piece. I contemplated keeping it just to use the record player, but even that feels a little weird to use. It's disappointing because the item itself is actually quite beautiful.

I was very impressed by how quickly and well packed my system arrived from Abe's of Maine [...] . The product itself has excellent speakers and diversity in the system itself because it plays CD's, record albums and cassette tapes. The oak finish is beautiful and warm. The only downside that I have found, is that you cannot fast forward or rewind the cassette tapes - but, heck, cassette tapes are nearly relics anyway. It's nice to have a stereo system that handles them at all. Overall, I have had a great experience with the product and the seller.

Absolutely beautiful, decorative, great sound, and can listen to old records, tapes. REmote works great, too.
Just bought another for my friends.

The CD player didn't work if you had all 3 CD inside, and after the 2nd attemp it got jammed. We had to spend a couple of minutes turning the device on and off hoping it would open the CD player. I returned the item, disappointment since this was a christmas present.
