I bought this player as a gift for my son, who is crazy for LPs. The first use demonstrated a slow and uneven play speed. After about 10 minutes, the turntable ground to a halt. We can hear the motor straining, but nothing is happening. The company forces the customer to pay shipping, even when the product is under warranty. Amazon needs to stop using this supplier. The Crosley company is well below their standards.

We bought one and it came with a damged exterior, so we returned it. Its box was open at one end as well. Amazon sent a replacement and it arrived with a missing foot, so it wobbles and can not be used to play records. It also had veneer missing in two places; chunks of it were missing to expose bare wood. Both looked used, so maybe it was not Crosley's fault, but instead Amazon's for passing off used items as new ones. I would recommend buying this from a more trustworthy store.

Crosley CR83 is a wonderful, beautiful, and great sounding record player/cd player/etc. I love listening to my records on it or playing my favorite CD's. I am definintely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who is seeking a quality piece without the large price tag. Also the shipping was fast, I recieved my crosley a week earlier than expected.

This little system is great! My wife and I have a small record collection and a small apartment, so we were looking for something that would fit on top of our entertainment center. This little unit fit the bill. It is of course a record player, but also has AM/FM radio, CD player, and audio cassette. The record player holds up to 6 records on the spindle and automatically drops them one after another. It is also beautiful dark cherry wood and looks handsome in our living room. There are just a few minor deficiencies that made it 4 stars instead of 5. The buttons are a little hard to read and they aren't in any logical order, so it takes a little time to find the right button. There's no digital tuning on the radio (but the old-fashioned dial adds to its charm). Also, a remote control would be nice and the speakers could be a little stronger.

All in all, it's a great looking all-in-one at a great price!

I ordered this product for my husband to play all our old records on. I read some of the reviews on it and was almost afraid to order it. It came on the day it was supposed to. I immedietly tried it out, and was so pleased with it The sound is very good and the records drop down and the Arm starts playing them like its supposed to. I'm sure we will enjoy this Player for a good long while. Thank you. I would encourage others wanting a small record player to invest in this Item.

This is an excellent purchase for all baby boomers. Plays 33s, 45s, cassettes and CDs. You can stack up to 6 33s just like we used to. Very good sound. Player arrived within 5 days. I'm very happy.

I highly recommend this item if you enjoy listening to your old records and tapes and CDs. Very good sound and nice looking cabinet.

The system is really nice. It's nice to load records from my collection and have the machine automatically drop the next album when done. The sound quality is very good. I would highly recommend this to anyone who still has a record collection.

Originally purchased this to play records and cassettes that we managed to hang on to over the years. It was delivered 2 weeks after we ordered it just as promised. It looks really good. It is great to be able to play the old albums like we use to. My college age kids get a kick out of it also. I am also impressed with the radio reception. I highly recommend this record player.

The product is exactly what we wanted, a stackable record player. The finish on the cabinet leaves a bit to be desired. The sound/quality of music is good. Only improvement would be to have bass/tenor switch on sound.
