I've owned this phone for 5 years now. Still works well and has good sound. One problem that has happens ever couple of years is the cradle that holds the hand piece eventually becomes spongy and less springy, until one day, it wont spring back into the upright position anymore. I removed the screws on the upper back of the phone ( total of 4 or 5 flat headed and 4 round headed ( the ones by the 3 switches for the ringer, loudness, etc) and carefully lifted it off because some wires will still be attached. When I looked inside to where the cradle goes into the body, I saw a silver "pin" about 1 1/2" long had worked its way loose. This pin holds the spring and arm of the cradle together. All I did was push the pin back and aligned it with the middle hole of the cradle arm and we were back like new. I guess the up and down motion of picking up and hanging up the receiver eventually works this pin loose to the point where it completely wiggles out of it's slot in the cradle mechanism. This time, I placed a little piece of tape over the pin to hold it in it's place. Took about 2 minutes to fix....and being a woman, if I can do it, anyone can.

Phone works well. Was easy to install and work. The only thing I do not like is that the ringer is a modern digital sound. The old country wall phone this one replaced had a more appropriate bell ringer. Happy with the phone all the same. Seller shipped it right out and I do recommend.

I am very pleased with this country wall phone. The quality of the finish is excellent as well as the sound of telephone is of high quality, both for sending and receiving

The appearance of this phone is awesome. Easy to install. The only problem is that I was hoping for an old fashioned ringer. Instead, it has a digital ringer. Still very happy with this product. And the price was much cheaper than any other site I found.

This Crosley phone is well worth the cost. Very easy to install. This replaced a country wall phone that was about 10 years old. I am very happy with the wood tone, ringer and connectivity.

Searched all over for the Country Wall Phone and was pleased to find it on Amazon.com. Made my search easier!

Let me tell you about this phone. I bought this phone back in 1996. The only problem it has had on off was after MANY years of use the microphone in the receiver would pop out of the foam so you'd have to unscrew the bottem of the handset put the microphone speaking piece back in the foam then screw it back on. This worked for many years up until just 5 months ago when the handheld part went out totally. But I have to tell you I placed this in the kitchen corridoor that is very busy and EVERYONE always uses that phone the most. I'm also a mother of 7 and we have 11 people living in the house which all have used the phone countless times up until now. I am going to purchase another one but I will miss the old ringer on the older model as everyone has been commenting that this one has a digital sound now. Also I had to replace the cord once in the 14 1/2 years of usage. I think I'll check into also purchasing just a receiver part as I'd like to use my old phone in another location of the house. I Definitly recommend this phone as it looks beautiful but even better it lasts more than you'd ever expect a phone to last.

Product was what I was looking for. I wanted something a phone to match my woodwork in my newly remodaled basement. Phone works fine and looks great. I do not use the phone in the basement much but I added a matching piece and something that is completely functional.

Looks great - to bad you can't actually use it as a phone - crackling, and constant static! Too much trouble to return.
