5.0 out of 5 stars Crosely ST75 Bardstown Entertainment Center Stand
The cabinet panels were compactly packaged but with enough padding and cardboard protection that they weren't damaged in shipment even though the outside packaging indicated the shipment might have been alittle rough.

The construction was relatively easy, for me anyway. You need the right small screw driver to get the little hinge screws installed properly...

1.0 out of 5 stars excessively damaged/poor quality
I was willing to give the item more credit than the previous reviewer, esp. based on the reviews of other comparable Crosley tables in different finishes. Big mistake--a few nicks and scratches I don't mind, but the pieces arrived in terrible shape. The finish was not consistent and was not even finished on the bottom front. The outer front sides were deeply scratched...

The outer front sides were deeply scratched and look awful. I immediately wanted to send it back, but to return the item the company wanted $75, plus the shipping!!! They sold me a completely damaged and poorly constructed piece and wanted nearly the price I paid for it new to send it back to them. I am outraged and will never purchase from them again. Because I have no recourse in fairly returning or exchanging the item, this is the worst buying experience I have yet had--online or in store.

1.0 out of 5 stars Damaged, November 29, 2007

Purchased as a Christmas present and am very disappointed with it. It arrived with a gash in the top so deep that the original wood is showing. It looks as if something was dropped on it, yet they sent it to us anyway. We didn't even get it fully unpacked and have to now return it. I thought Crosley turned out quality products but I guess I was wrong. We also purchased the matching Crosley Stack-O-Matic and it too has a gash in it.

Looking at it sitting in my living room I cannot see any blemishes in the finish. There were no scratches on the panels just a few faint lines that turned out not to be obervable after assembly.

My old 33's fit comfortably in the lower section of the cabinet. The front door glass is attractive.

All in all I would say its a quality product worth the money.

This table looks good. Shows well. However, it arrived damaged. It looks as if someone assembled it and then disassembled it prior to shipping. I still own this table, but if I could do it over again, I would go with another brand.

This piece of furniture is perfect for our phonograph player. Especially like the storage space below. The finish is nice and it was very easy to assemble. I highly recommend this piece.

Excellent Product. Could have better instructions as the parts were not lettered according to the instructions.

This was a nice stand at a good price. The only problem i had with it is the instructions. You have to use your imagination and common sense on this stand because the instructions are not very well written out. I was missing a couple of screws too. Be careful and don't put screws in farther than they are supposed to go because they are thicker than the wood and will go through to the other side!

I display authentic, restored vintage tube table radios from the 1930s and '40s, not modern Crosley modern reproductions of old radios! Back in those days table radios weighed from 30 to 50 pounds. One of my rigs displayed on this stand is 60 lbs and this handles it with ease.

The finish was just about perfect, no flaws, scratches, etc. Both sides of shelves are finished. The back of the backboard isn't, but the front of the backboard is (the part you see inside the cabinet.

Straightforward and fairly easy to assemble. Very complete step by step instructions with illustrations right along. No unusual tools necessary, only a good large screwdriver (to twist in the camlock) and a hammer etc. I used elmers white glue for to set up the wooden dowls. The finished item was level and all sides straight and square. All holes, grooves, etc. are premade at the factory.

The panels join together with camlocks, dowls, and tongue & grooves for strength.

Be carfull that you have already installed the camlock before pounding the dowel into its hole. Otherwise it might take awhile to find the right tool to remove it :). Some boards look symetric but there is a small groove or screw hole somewhere on one side or end, so just make sure the board is not backwards before installing. :). No problems otherwise!

For compitition try searching for "nightstands", "side tables", "end tables". But I'm not going to do any more searching because this one looked and functioned so well. I bought three more just like it! When I have more (authentic) vintage radios or phonographs to dispaly, there will be more of these Crosley's in my living room.

I received the Crosley entertainment stand just a few days after ordering it, which was a surprise considering the free shipping. The product arrived in excellent condition, and was easy to assemble. It is the perfect companion to the Crosley record player I have. This is the second stand I have bought. The first one was damaged beyond repair when I moved last month. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.
