About Crosman
In 1923 in Rochester, New York, Crosman was founded as Crosman Arms Company. From its inception, Crosman's principal products were airguns and airgun ammunition. During the 1950s, new accounts included Sears Roebuck & Co., Montgomery Ward, and Western Auto, all of which sold Crosman's products under their respective brand names.

In 1966, Crosman introduced its own Crosman brand airgun, the Crosman Pumpmaster 760, which has sold more than 11 million units to date. Crosman Corporation is now an international designer, manufacturer, and marketer of Crosman pellet, BB, airsoft rifles and pistols, Copperhead ammunition, and Benjamin pellet rifles and ammunition.

Product Description

One of the most versatile airguns on the market, the Crosman 2100B multi-pump pneumatic shoots either steel BBs or .177 lead pellets. With 200 BB rounds in the gun's reservoir (17 BBs in the magazine), you'll be shooting for hours without having to reload. Just pump and shoot! If you prefer to shoot pellets, the 2100B can do that, too (loaded one at a time). As both a repeater and a single-shot, this rifle offers adaptability not found in most other airguns. The 11mm dovetail makes scoping the gun an easy project. Both BBs and pellets can be used to shoot targets, although steel BBs should never be shot at metal targets and objects.Pump the 2100 B from 2 to 10 pumps, depending on the distance you're shooting. Light in weight, this full-size powerhouse launches pellets up to 725 fps and BBs up to 755 fps. Never pump your 2100B more than 10 pump. Versatile multi-pump pneumatic shoots either steel BBs (755 fps) or .177 pellets (725 fps). Wood-grain synthetic stock.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you got the cash, get this rifle., September 12, 2009
This review is from: Crosman 2100 B air rifle (Sports)
I absolutely love this gun. The heft, the accuracy, the tru-glow site and most of all the power. I got this rifle at a local store about 5 years ago or so and it was by far the best [...] bucks I've ever spent. Rite from the get go I wanted a airgun that was inexpensive, realistic, accurate and had variable power. This gun fit the mould and then some. I use it primarily as a hunting/pest control rifle but is just as fun to target shoot with it. I left the gun completely stock I just painted the stock and forearm OD green. I've taken many animals with this gun like squirrels, chipmunks, rats, woodchucks, rabbits, skunks, and raccoons. This thing is durable! Don't be afraid to use this gun, mine has been dropped, stepped on, left in the rain, caked in mud and every time you pull that trigger it will fire. And don't be afraid to over cock this I've pumped mine up 20 or so times and it worked fine and wow is it powerful at that point! But I will say this Get pointed pellets dont use BB's unless your just plinking. What else can I say if you got the money, get this rifle. It's absolutely worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for the incautious, July 14, 2006
By
The Crosman 2100 is not a gun to get if you've never owned an air rifle before. It's got a good amount of power and of course there's the added bonus that you can fire both pellets and BBs with it. It has the option of carrying up to 100 BBs in the stock for convenient reloading; this is good for target-shooting but is very noisy and not useful for stealth. It requires quite a bit of cleaning, though, and tends to rust fairly easily. Other than that, it's very durable, dependable, and versatile. I lived in Africa when I had mine, and it lasted through everything I threw at it, including high heat, dust, sand, water, and mud. It's a bit louder than some models I've used, but it's accurate up to approximately 100 feet (with a scope attachment). Some people find it hard to pump up, but after you've done it for a while you get used to it. It's also relatively easy to take apart if you need to ship it in a smaller carrying case. It's perfect for small-game hunting but a little too powerful to give to your twelve-year-old nephew. It is NOT a rapid-fire weapon, so if you're doing any hunting you really only have one shot. I enjoyed my experience with mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cant be beat!, March 25, 2011
This review is from: Crosman 2100 B air rifle (Sports)
I have had 2 of these over the past 30 yeas or so. Lot's of folks complain because it has a plastic stock and forearm. But the reality here is this helps the rifle to remain light weight.
Accurate? It's deadly! The noise of the BB's rattling around in the stock can be annoying and a dead give away when trying to stalk some prey. You can avoid this by only putting in enough to fill the magazine OR you can carry the BB's and pellets in your pocket and load one when you cock.
I live in a suburban area and am constantly bothered with squirrels and rabbits. I use BB's at 2 pumps to chase them off. When a river rat comes in my yard ( I only live 2 blocks from the Arkansas river), he gets a full 10 pumps and a pellet. It's not something I use every day, but when I need it it's there.
If you are interested in multiple target shooting, look into a CO2 rifle. If you want something that's dead accurate with a single shot, this is the gun to get!!!!
