This product holds the barrel rock solid still, aids in mounting a scope, and should have come with the 1377 in the first place. at 10 yards I can put a hole through a hole with the gamo rockets. If the bolt sticks in the forward position and gravity cant make it fall down, thats a good thing, that means your bolts o-ring is making good contact inside of the barrel, the plactic breech and standard bolt never did that. When uninstalling breech, remove rear sight screw first, then breech screw. When installing, tighten breech screw first, then rear sight screw, that should keep you from stripping out that tiny allen head. Once you're satisfied the port on the barrel is where it should be then you lock down the barrel set-screw. And use some sort of sealant in the port area to keep gas from escaping before you install everything. You will not be disappointed in this. And aim-sports makes a fixed 4 power compact mil-dot scope for 30 or so dollars that I put on this thing. Awesome!

you intend to add a scope or red dot to your Crosman 1377 or 1322. If you do not add a scope or red dot you will not have a rear site as the original will no longer fit, forcing you to purchase a rear site that is as expensive as the pistol. Granted, it will be a great improvement over the original rear site. I like this one:

Air Venturi Williams Notched Elevation

The steel breech kit, itself, does not add any performance as far as I can tell.

Good luck figuring out how to install this from the years old xerox instruction sheet Crosman sends with the kit. Google it for videos that might give you a clue.

Fit and finish were not really great. The bolt sticks and is hard to move through the cycle, although I've seen that this works out in time.

I can't really say whether this does any good or not except for providing a platform for a better sight or scope. Overall, I'm not impressed. Crosman charged a lot for shipping and took their time getting it out the door.
