This review is from: Crosman Airgun Ammo Pouch, Holds 500 Pellets (Sports)
I was looking for a way for my son and I to shoot his new air rifle without spilling the pellets every time - this works great! velcro belt loop easy to put on your belt, and the pouch is perfect for pellets. I also use this for my .22 cal pistol and rifle - much easier than trying to keep from spilling the box.....

This is a very well made, very durable pouch by Crosman that fits on your belt with a velcro strap. It has strong velcro and will keep your pellets safe inside without spilling out when closed. When opened, you can use the flip tabs to keep it opened and this makes it easy to reach down and grab a pellet without even having to look. Its deep enough too where you can walk around without them falling out. It fits easily over my belt and to my side. Sure beats having to reload from a tin can each time. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This review is from: Crosman Airgun Ammo Pouch, Holds 500 Pellets (Sports)
Product: Crosman Airgun Ammo Belt Pouch (Velcro)
Rating: 4 of 5 stars (good) Although billed as being designed for .177 airgun pellets, this is a pretty decent all purpose ammo pouch. In my case, I use it to hold slingshot ammo ... most commonly 3/8" unpolished chromium steel ball bearings (which, as of this writing, cost me about $1.50/lb, or roughly 128 count). The pouch is able to comfortably hold about 15 oz (by weight) of 3/8" steel shot, or roughly 120 rounds, and still be able to stay closed, without dumping. This pouch has 2 velcro enclosures: one to cover the ammo compartment, and the other a flap that slides between your belt and jeans. There are advantages and disadvantages to velcro flaps. On the plus side, it's easy and fast to open and close with one hand. On the negative side, if you take it off and put it down on a table, shots could possibly leak out the corners if it tips over (esp if they're as small as BB's). However, it's still a dramatic improvement over simply sticking a fistful of ammo in your pocket. Recommended for a variety of ammunition types. EDIT: slingshot buffs are encouraged to visit "slingshotforum.com". UPDATE: after some extended use, I'm not as keen on the flapless open-top compartment design ... the lack of a top flap means you cant bend or lean without the pouch dumping. It would benefit from a top flap that could be tucked behind the pouch if you want it to stay open. Also, the velcro is a bit weak, and heavier ammo (1/2"+ steel) causes the pouch to pull the velcro open and hang agape. Also, some of the stitching is already fraying, indicating a need for stronger thread and a more resilient seam pattern.
