Anyways I have done a great deal of reviews and fact checking with this bow before I purchased it
and YES it was a great investment for the price. The bow has a pretty good structure, nice and sturdy.
The draw weight I wish would be a little heavier but overall everything works fine. I can shoot up to about 20-25 yards with accuracy and for the price that you pay for this bow its a great deal. I know crossman is a gun brand
but I took a risk and was way happy with it. Yes this is a youth beginner bow but it does not mean adults can't use it. Its only considered this because the draw weight is not 35+
In my opinion this is just a great bow... So if you want a inexpensive but still a good beginner to intermediate bow this is defiantly the way to go.
You got to realize that for the price you are paying, you won't be getting some super fancy olympic type of recurve. This is a great bow to ease you into archery.
It says 20 lbs and that seems little but trust me -- after a half hour to an hour of shooting, you will begin to feel like you're actually working out.
The pin sight is honestly a bit useless as are most of the other accessories except for the leather finger tab which is quite useful. The quiver is also nice because it attaches straight to the bow. Of course you will not be pulling arrows from it at a fast rate but it's nice to keep your arrows in storage.
Arm guard is okay but if you are wearing a sweater or long sleeve you should be okay.
The arrows are not bad. I know a lot of people have complained about the arrows being cheap and breaking easily but I would suggest shooting from close range first at foam/cardboard targets. Shooting at 'softer targets' will ensure that you aren't hitting your arrow against all sort of hard surfaces. That being said, it might be wise to get other arrows for the long run.
Not bad at all. It looks pretty hip as well. Note that setup might be a bit confusing as the instructions and diagram it comes with is completely useless and not very helpful but it's not rocket science; you'll figure it out.
I recently decided that I wanted to get into archery so I spent a long time reviewing all sorts of bows, and this is the one I ended up choosing. It is a very sturdy bow, well made and very durable. Most of the accessories that come with it are pretty cheap, but that's what you get for this price, you're lucky they are even included. The bow shoots fairly accurately and is comfortable to hold.
Keep in mind that although this is described as a youth bow, it is just as usable for adults also. In my opinion it is the perfect bow to learn traditional archery on, because it is very cheap (in case you decide this was just a passing fancy), it is high quality, and the draw weight, while slightly on the low side compared to nicer bows, is perfect for developing good form while shooting. If you decide you enjoy the sport and want a larger draw weight, you'll just have to buy a nicer bow, but keep in mind that the cost of this bow is less than the accessories on most mid-level bows so you will have invested your money well by buying this one first.
Over all an excellent bow unparalleled in quality at this price level.
Keep in mind that you will need to buy extra arrows, as the two that come with it are of low quality. Walmart carries decent arrows for three dollars a pop, our you can visit your local archery store and buy much nicer ones for around 4 or 5 dollars a pop.

Got this for my son, 10 years old, and started basic archery lessons with it. It is a good starter set, low enough power he can shoot it multiple times without wearing his arm out... Read morePublished 6 days ago by Lyle A. Roberts
My boys love this. Works well for 4&8 year olds. Works like a "real" bow but not too much tension so the kids can use it themselves without help pulling back . Perfect .Published 12 days ago by paige reynolds
None better for the money if you only want a 28 Lb recurve bow (plenty of power for most people).
VERY well made, looks great, and high quality. Read more
