I own a Hatsan model 70 1000 fps rifle and I purchased various types of pellets to see which are better suited for it. Among these pellets came the Crosman Destroyers.
I shot at a piece of aluminum pipe (the one used in showers to hold curtains)with flat, pointed, and destroyers. The flat ones made a nice hole in the front of the pipe but failed to exit thru the back leaving only an indentation. The pointed ones passed both walls with a nice small hole in the back one. But the Destroyers were awesome, managing to go thru the pipe and leaving a big exit hole proving that they were expanding. Then I shot a 3 liter soda bottle but due to the high speed of the rifle, all pellets got thru. I got a bucket and shot again and I finally was able to see the pellets. Flat and pointed were very deformed but the Destroyers expanded to about double the size. Impressive. Overall they are an excellent design with excellent performance and a nice price. I recommend them.

These pellets are the best! In my 600 fps Powermaster it blew through a grapfruit at 15 yards and continued and left a big dent in my 1/2 in thick crawlspace door. Amazing pellets. At 10 yards they penetrate 1 inch of putty. And the soda can i shot from 15 yards away, completely demolsihed. They are awesome beacuase when they hit a substantial surface they break into two parts, crushing everythign x2 in it's path. i would highly reccommend these to any small game hunter.

These pellets were a lot more accurate in my Crosman Quest 1000 than some other pelllets that I have tried. They also hit very hard. I love these pellets!!!!

Read a lot of reviews before I decided to stock these in my arsenal for the tree rat war this summer. I have an ongoing battle with the squirrels and my tomato garden and have finally found a solution. These pellets pack a nice punch and are seriously accurate. I have no problem hitting a soda bottle cap at 20 yards so a kill shot with a squirrel is not a problem. The pellet does leave expansion evidence when shooting plastic bottles and does not have any penetration issues. No need to spend more for these have great results!

these pellets are AWESOME! most pellets ive shot just go right through stuff that i shoot without doing much of anything. THESE pellets literally blow stuff apart.
i shot some into clay and they expanded to almost three times the original size. they are definately "destroyers" BTW walmart sells them for 2.00 a tin. so i dont understand why theyre listed here on amazon for 10.50! what a ripoff!!!!!!!!!!!!

What they hit they destroy . . .,

I bought a lot of different pellets to see what works best in my RWS 34, and this is what I thought about these pellets:
Well, I was looking for accuracy primarily, as I don't really hunt with my pellet guns, but I thought "Huh, these were made for hunting, so they should be accurate." Well, not really. Not as accurate as Crosman Premier Hollowpoints. But these pellets have a remarkable energy transfer to the target. I lined three medium sized apples up and fired into them with the muzzle about six inches away from the closest apple to test the expansion and soft tissue damage. The pellet went through the first apple and stopped mostly through the second apple. The skirt of the pellet stayed in the first apple, but the rest of the pellet went into the second apple. The ridge on the front of the pellet folded back and the overall shape changed enough to know that there was a great energy transfer to the target. To test soft tissue damage I shot several rotten and gooey apples from approximately 60 feet away. The apples exploded upon impact throwing gooey apple pieces everywhere. End opinion: These pellets weren't accurate enough for my liking because the skirt wasn't wide enough to adequately grip the rifling. But if you got close enough, and put your shot into the vitals, not many squirrels or birds will live through the tissue damage. And another side note, I would be apprehensive to use these for hunting because of the skirt separation. You might not get all the lead out of the game before you eat it, which isn't good. Four stars, because hunting pellets should be more accurate. Everything else: Pretty okay.

I did an accuracy test of 7 different types of pellets: Jsb exacts, gamo match, gamo pointed, gamo rockets, gamo raptors(gold), rws hypermax and crosman destryers ex. I expected either the jsb exacts or gamo match to win, since they had been shooting the best out of my Gamo CFX .177 but as soon as i purchased these i did the test and was surprised with the results.
1. Crosman Destroyer EX 2. JSB Exact 3. Gamo Match 4. Gamo Rocket 5. Gamo Pointed 6. Gamo Raptor 7. RWS Hypermax the test was performed from 1 side of my yard to the next, bout 40ft. I bought these at wal-mart for about $3 for the 250 tin

I have a pigeon problem and bought a Crosman Phantom pellet gun and various types of pellets to try out. Without question, the "Destroyer" pellets are the best for me. They almost instantly kill the pigeons, where as the hollow point version of the pellets caused the birds to fly away mortally wounded and leave a trail of blood all over my driveway and unfortunately my wife's car (sorry baby!).
The destroyer pellets solve that problem and are perfect for small game.

I purchased these pellets for the sole purpose of scaring off some pigeons that have been nesting above the window of my daughter's room. These pellets, coupled with the Crosman 760 Pump master Variable Pump BB Repeater/Single Shot Pellet Rifle definitely did the job. We've gone from 5 bothersome pigeons to 0 in a matter of days!

Javelinas Hate Them, I Love Them!,

We have a problem with Javelinas coming into our yard, rooting up the irrigation system, eating plants, generally making a mess. We had a large herd of them at our former house but a mountain lion that cruised through our yard nightly kept them from spending much time in the open. Here, no mountain lion, plenty of mess. The original Crosman pellets made them jump and run the first two times. But back they came! The Destroyers have enough power when they flatten out, to make a big Javelina jump a good foot straight up in the air. Two go-rounds with two different herds and I haven't seen hide nor bristle of the Javelinas since. They do what they are advertised to do! (and for you animal lovers, we let the bunnies,Roadrunners, lizards, bobcats, coyotes have free reign of the yard. And I don't plink the baby Javelinas, just the big guys.)
