This feeder/loader is easy to load and works awsome!
Darrell McCaffery
The plunger used to inject the pellet does become a bit cumbersome with the loader fully loaded.

It makes it so much easier to load these high-powered break barrel pellet rifles.

After my initial purchase of this pellet loader, and trying another brand on the market which is longer, I repurchased more of this loader version. Why? There were two major reasons for my liking the Crosman design:

First, the length of the Crosman loader is more accommodating to carry pellets in a shirt pocket. I found the competitor's version was less secure when holding pellets, thus, more prone to spillage. There's nothing more fun and exciting than to spend your valuable recreation time trying to gather loose pellets in your pockets rather than shooting or making that time-critical shot.

Secondly, I prefer the structural design of the plunger which enables the shooter to seat the pellet well into the chamber using thumb pressure on the blunt end of the plunger, operating similar to a retractable ballpoint pen. I could be wrong, but I prefer knowing that the pellet is secure in the chamber before firing and that pellet point won't be tilted to one side or the other when closing the chamber. To my thinking, this should offer greater accuracy, though I haven't studied my shots well enough to offer conclusive evidence of improved accuracy or that deeper seating makes any significant improvement. For sure, my pellets don't drop back out of the chamber when seated firmly! This can be a major factor if your shot is important to you. The tip of the plunger is just the right spherical size to help re-form any pellet sleeves that may have been slightly altered from being bounced around in pockets, from excessive handling, or from rattling around in their prospective canisters. This loader, without a doubt, is the best pellet loader I have found on the market, thus far.

It is a great way to load my break-action rifle without fumbling and droping small 177 pellets. One fault is that the plunger stays out once you have the pellet loader full. It is a little long at that point to carry in you shirt pocket. It needs to be reinvented so that it will be the size of a ball point pen all the time. could be done if the feed tube was next to the plunger and a pellet was pushed by a spring, one at a time in front of the plunger.

I bought this product to speed up loading rotary clips for a Gamo PT 80 air pistol. It took a few pellets to get used to how the loader worked, but after that the loader worked well. My initial problem was accidentally loading two pellets in to a single clip chamber. But after a few pellets, I got used to the feel of a single pellet leaving the loader. I can imagine having the same problem with single shot air rifle at first. It might have helped if the tube the pellets are loaded into was clear plastic instead of solid metal, like another similar product I have seen. [...]
It might be good for hunting with a single shot rifle, but you probably would not fully fill the loader with 16 pellets. When fully filled, the rod that advances pellets sticks almost three inches out the top. I think this would make the loader a little awkward to carry in a shirt pocket. It might be okay to carry in a shirt pocket with fewer pellets. Maybe eight would not be so awkward. The other product I have seen does not have this problem either.

Still, for my needs, and considering the reasonable price, this product still gets an okay.

Its very simply made, made to easily load pellets into the pen and guns. I will buy a few more for carrying different types of pellets, and they should have made several different colors for identifying different pellet types.

A good way to hold pellets while hunting small game like squirrels. The design could be better if the pellets were in a spring loaded mechanism like an ink pen but it is functional. I load 8 or 9 pellets. I rarely use 16 as the plunger sticks up to far. Hard to beat for the price. The only other product is twice the price and plastic. Does what is says.

A must for your crosman 13xx
I'm using it on my 1377. Easy to load, and easy to carry.
I was surprised it cost more on Crosman's website, go figure.

Not too impressed with this one. First of all, when fully loaded the plunging or advancing rod sticks up about 4" effectively doubling the length of the device. This makes it unable to be carried in your pants pocket. Secondly when you depress the rod to load a pellet into the barrel, the next pellet in line comes too far out and may fall on the ground or you may even unknowingly load 2 pellets at once. So I would not recommend this, too bad as I have 2 Crosman guns and use Crosman ammo and have always enjoyed their products.
