This is a gun for beginners. It is pretty good until you get at a higher level of airsoft. Here are the pros and cons.
PROS
Very high capacity drum.
Accurate
Nice looking
Good battery location(in the stock)
Easy to use
Metal Gearbox
Good Price

CONS
Doesn't shoot very far
Okay fps
Bad ROF(Rate of fire)
The sights are hard to use(V sights for front and back)
Gravity fed so you have to shake it a lot.
Loud when it shoots

Overall
For the price, I would get this gun if you are starting out playing airsoft. You have to charge it for like 6-hours, but it gets a long battery life. I suggest this for beginners.

So we've had this gun for about 6 months and use it VERY frequently. I don't know why people have said its been jamming all the time, it's made with a metal gearbox, which first off, makes it more sturdy and high powered so it won't break like most cheap guns that have a plastic gearbox. For two, it makes it harder to jam. The clip, is gravity fed... so duhh, its not gonna shoot a bullet every time, they just drop in. We've NEVER had any problems with it, and heck it gets a little abused from now and then. So I guess be wary, there could be a chance you get a faulty gun, but the normal gun, works like its supposed to, which is great.
GOOD POWER.
TOUGH GUN.
NOT TOO ACCURATE though.
BIG OL' CLIP!

HAPPY BUYING!!

We bought this gun for my 11 year old son. Here's his review:

the pulse r75 is an awesome gun! i have had at least 10 spring pistols, but this is my first automatic.

pros:10
300 fps
ok rof
METAL GEARBOX!!!
metal trigger
hi cap drum (it holds about 1500, not 4000 as advertised, but still good.)
hop up
upgradeable
good sights
rail
holds its charge well (i dont use full auto very often)

cons:3
curves up with .12 gram
takes awhile to charge
wont load bbs when shooting at a sharp angle

this is an awesome primary weapon. you have the choice of semi or full auto. mag capacity is not a problem. its rugged and made by crosman. its simple and effective. its mid-price range.(look up airsoft minigun!) i would and have recommended this to a friend. i am not with amazon (im 11) and an intermediate airsoft player. this is a good gun. for a secondary, look up smith and wesson airsoft pistol clear and click on the $25 one that comes with a target. buy 2 extra mags for the pistol.

this is an awesome gun for a beginner or a pro. yea, its awesome. :)

I bought this gun a few months ago and it's ok. The fps 300 with 12 gram bbs wich is ok. The accuracy is bad with 12 grams but good with 20 grams. Personly this is a good intermiedet airsoft players gun. This is my fith gun and second best. If I were you and wanted a gun to use in the backyard but a step up from a cock gun I would get this.

My son and I have battles. I use this one and he uses an MP7.

I like the R75. If you aren't using hop-up the BB curves down pretty soon after leaving the barrel. If you do use hop-up the BB goes pretty straight in the vertical direction. Horizontally the BB often curves left or right some.

To shoot on full auto you have to shake the rifle about every 3 or 4 bullets to feed more bullets in to the shooting chamber. This is probably my main complaint. I normally use it on semi automatic due to auto not bieng reliable.

I paid $70 for this gun at Academy Sports. I think it's worth it.
