where can I start? it was shipped on time, it was pretty well packaged. Came with everything it said, saved myself a few bucks, shoots great and very accurate plus its strong !would recommend to anyone over 13 , I went to an indoor shooting range that my friend has and at 25 feet he hit dead on center ! ( I should add he is a deputy sheriff and is a great shot , he even liked my pellet gun when I first showed it to him. This gun functions well because its a semi automatic up to 10 pellets (one after another of course) so you get the real experience of shooting a somewhat realistic gun .

I ordered this just for fun, i am a very active shooter with many different calibers. When i take my niece or nephew to the field to shoot BB's or pellet targets this is one of the pieces we take. It is VERY accurate out of the box which suprised me being a left handed shooter. i have made no changes to the rear sight (which is the only one u can change). The trigger is a bit heavy for kids, but not too bad for adults, specially with the hammer back. The holster it comes with is actually pretty sturdy! i sometimes use it for my Glock 31C , if it were slightly bigger i could fit the Glock with a TLR2 light. Only advice i would give anyone who purchases this piece is to be gentle when changing CO2 since the inside grip of the gun that secures the CO2 seems kinda flimsy. Dont force it and it will last you a long time !

I checked numerous reviews before deciding on this purchase. First the shipping was quick and the item was well packaged. After unpacking, it was noted that the description and photos of the pistol are very accurate. It has a good weight to it and also easy to handle and hold. I have fairly large hands and a small person or youth with small hands may fine it a littler harder to hold. The existing physical description is very accurate and doesn't need repeating here. A quick review of the instruction pamphlet and I proceeded to remove the plastic grips to install a co2 cartridge (purchased elsewhere since the pistol doesn't come with one). Please remember to put the safety on by pushing the safety from the left to right position (as you face the back of the hammer) which also covers the red dot on the back of the left of the safety. The instructions indicate to remove the left grip by pulling up on the butt of the grip but I found that did not work well and finally got the grip to release by lightly pulling up with slight rocking motion on the upper half of the grip. The lower grip then simply pushes away with a finger. Do be careful because the grips lock/snap together with 2 narrow protrusions each of plastic on the inside of each grip. I used a partial drop of Pellgun oil on each when put back together and that helped considerably on the next removal times. You will need the oil for lubrication for the top of each co2 cartridge which helps maintain the seal in the pistol so you need to order that at the same time as well. Several reviews have indicated initial problems with installation of the co2 cartridge and I also had some difficulty. The first cartridge did not have an obvious air escape during the installation process and the tightening of the the thumb screw was difficult though the entire seating process which made it difficult to determine the pressure difference when actually seated to the proper depth. I chose not to force it and re-installed the grips. I then proceeded to open the barrel for installation of a magazine. Other reviewers experienced similar results - it is very hard to push down on the top release! In fact I had to use both hands and both thumbs on each other the first time I opened it. I immediately added a drop of oil to the latch area and opened and shut it several times before going on with the next step. Even then it was very difficult but did get better after a few tries. I loaded a magazine with pellets which takes a little bit of time (remember I have large hands). After loading the first one, I then loaded others with a Crosman pellet loader which is much easier, faster and cleaner. After installing the loaded magazine I went to an outside safety area that I have set up for sighting and target practice for my wife and I for various pistols, revolvers and others that we own.
Crosman did an excellent job of putting adjustable rear sights on this pistol and are needed if you want accurate results. In our situation we had to move the windage adjustment almost 3/32" to the right and raise the elevation adjustment about 1/8". Please be sure you loosen the left sight side screw before adjustments and tighten lightly after adjustments. The good news here is that the accuracy is amazing - we had several groupings (3 shots each) that were 1" or less at 35'. That is remarkable for the price range of this pistol and overall design. We were using .177 Crosman Supermatch Copperhear Pellets for overall performance, consistency and they are generally cleaner from lead flakes. Keep in mind this is not a powerful pistol - 435FPS, but it is still a dangerous weapon. It is very useful for training and practice purposes and overall enjoyable. While others have indicated they get from 70 to 100 shots per co2 cartridge, I have found that for overall performance and accuracy 50 to 60 is about tops. Again the pistol may take some adjustments, has an excellent design for shooting 10 pellets in sequence, and very usable but overall is a very good buy in the price range.

I have a problem at my house with Richardson Ground squirrels over the years they have been becoming more of a pest so I got this to try to take care of the problem. My dad has a bb gun spring rifle which he has been using over the years but I wanted something more mobile. This will not take care of the squirrel problem but it is good enough to scare them away and it is a great "toy" to "play" with.

I live in the woods so set up a few cans and had some good fun testing my aim. You could easily spend hours with this and still have a good time. It is easy to use and feels good. I was expecting it to be loud from other reviews but it was actually fairly quiet. Buying this bundle kit you actually save a few bucks instead of the gun itself and buying the additional clips separately.

Just be sure when you use this to use common sense and read the safety instructions. Never point the pistol at anyone even if the pistol is unloaded, and practice safe firing behavior.

It was shipped on time and nicely packaged. I couldnt wait to shoot it. Everything came out of the packaging easily and all peices were there. Had co2 delivered the previous day, so I took my first shot. Much more realistic than i expected it to be, from the look to the feel to the loudness of it. Accuracy was great and pellets flew fast. Great gun overall. Thanks Crosman!

This Crosman Vigilante is a decently made .177 cal pellet pistol for the price. Nothing too fancy, but it is quite accurate and lots of fun to shoot. The frame is die cast zinc and the barrel assembly is made of the same black polymer plastic that many other manufactures use for their air guns. For a CO2 pistol it has pretty good muzzle velocity and target penetration at 8-meters. This pistol kit included a nylon holster along with three extra 10-round pellet clips, in addition to the one that comes with it. There is also one 6-round BB clip included. The two-piece black plastic handle grip is easily removed for replacing the CO2 cartridge, but the two halves seemed a little loose on the frame and would rattle slightly when in place, which I found annoying, so I added black 3/16-inch diameter stick-on foam dots at each of the corners of the handle frame on both sides and the plastic handle grip now fits snuggly with no movement. I posted a pic below showing the location of the foam dots. Overall, for what this pistol cost, I think it was a good purchase and would have no issue recommending it to anyone looking for a decent, inexpensive CO2 pellet revolver.

The gun is easy to handle, weight is well balanced, The speed load cartridges are a great feature, but I'd like them to be a little secured while bringing the barrel back up. The holster sets the gun well and I did not have a single hang-up when drawing. Overall a good gun for pinking and target practice.
