The rolling action on this pen is above average, but definitely not as nice as some I have used. It is a beautiful piece of workmanship, however, and for the price, it's a great entry level executive pen.

Not worth the price,

I use it with a Cross Gel rolling ball (0.7mm) refill. Have used the pen for about 3 months. Didn't find ink quality/flow as smooth as a Pilot G2-7 gel ink pens. Cap caused scratches to develop on the the top of outer barrel as well as the black portion of the barrel where one typically holds the pen to write.
The blue/chrome combination looks good; but not worth the price given the flimisiness of the finish and quality/flow of ink compared to other (much less expensive) pens.
