I have always loved Cross products. These glasses are very attractive, but they nose bridge broke off and the plastic grippers fall off. Very surprised at that...

I really like these reading glasses. They are of excellent quality and workmanship. They are well designed except for the "nose pads".
I have purchased 3 pairs of Cross eyeglasses - the "Faulkner", the "Melville" and the "Joyce". All three use "nose pads" that are unique to Cross eyeglasses. Like other reviewers have reported, the "nose pads" fall out during normal use. The "nose pads" do not use screws and are not available through optometrists. I contacted Cross in regards to this matter looking to purchase replacement parts. According to the customer service representative, "The reading glasses are not 'cross pens'. We only guarantee our pens, we do not guarantee our glasses. We do not stock or sell replacement pads."

I purchased these glasses as an alternative pair to the other more funky glasses, that I made at the same time. Glasses are very elegant and classy and for the cost it is an excellent purchase!
