Great read and recipes
Long for the simple life? Take a trip and stay a spell at Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings' Florida farm with caretaker and' author Sally Morrison. Bake up some 'grapefruit biscuits' and listen to her tales of living the delightful simple life in Cross Creek Florida. I enjoy(ed) this cookbook immensely and I 'Recommend it highly.

cross creek kitchens
I bought this book because I know both the arthor and the illustrator personally, and not only wanted to support them but to see what kind of work it was. I was somewhat disappointed, the book seemed a little too personal and not a real indepth study of Cross Creek Cooking.
