5.0 out of 5 stars Crossfire
Very good novel about A marine lost from his platoon who meets a group of potentially dangerous children. This book was a great book because it told both sides of the story.

1.0 out of 5 stars Vietnam's Worst
I thought that this book was the worst Vietnam novel that I have ever read in my life. I found the writing style to be hard to read and the characters were badly developed. 4.0 out of 5 stars Cross-Fire by. Gail Graham, December 19, 2002
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Cross-Fire; A Vietnam Novel,: A Vietnam Novel (Hardcover)
Cross-Fire I really liked this book. This book is about this marine that gets stranded in Vietnam with out any support all of his fellow marines are dead or lost. When he gets to an open field he thinks he hears Charlie, Vietnam soldiers, he runs into a family, he dosen't know if he should kill them because they might tell he was here, or should he let them go. I'll let you find out what his descision is. I liked this book because it had alot of action and had aloy of detail of what Vietnam when we were in war with them and what the Vietnamese families had to go through. I recomend it to any one who likes war books with alot of suspense.

The beginning and endings were both below the standards of and good book. The beginning puts you right in the jungle with a marine and the end leaves much to be desired. There are also a few historicaly inaccurate things in the novel. Overall I thought the book was bad and would hope that no one would subject themselves to reading such a poorly written book.
