A quick read...a wonderful introduction to the world of Barbara Cartland. Witty, a bit of suspense, and true love. I highly recommend this sweet. innocent, victorian tale. If Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights is your style...Barbara delivers.

Barbara Cartland has written over 700 novels and is admired around the world. Her novels always portray innocence, love, respect and are such a joy to read. There is nothing like reading historical romances with an angelic quality to them. Wonderful!
