5.0 out of 5 stars single mom's represent, October 14, 2010
This review is from: Cross My Heart (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I really really liked this book. The main female lead was so strong and confident and a glowing example of a single mom. I immediately felt drawn to her. The male lead was a Hollywood actor, but he seemed to have normal roots. Love can strike in the most inopportune times. Fight for what you want. This book will have you rooting for mama. It was great. Enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cross My Heat, April 20, 2010
This review is from: Cross My Heart (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Rating 4.5

Cross My Heat is another fantastic love story. David Montgomery is actor, director and producer who is demand and is at the highest of his career. As with anybody who is in the public all the time there is bound to be some skeletons hiding. David just finishes doing a movie and is in hot demand.

Natalia Coles is a psychologist, social worker, independent woman who decided she wanted to have a family but didn't want or feel she has to wait on marriage or a man to have wanted she want. Natalia went to a sperm bank and purchase her donor and results turn out to be two wonderful boys. They are the light of her life and there is nothing she wouldn't do for them.

From the moment David and Natalia met there was tension and attraction, for Natalia it was about being the best mother possible to her boys and getting grant for her center Team Dream Center. David he secretly came to town to meet and see what type of mother is raising his boys.........What David realize is that Natalia is nothing what he expected and his attraction to her caught him off guard and fell hopeless in love.

You will love this book from the beginning to end I recommend this book

4.0 out of 5 stars Really good romance, July 21, 2011

This was a re-read for me, originally read 12/2010. Really well written. Natalia was unknowingly connected to David in a major way. He knew this but couldn't share the connection with her until he knew the timing was right. These two had a very rocky start, but the chemistry was there immediately, and their coming together was almost instant. I loved David's courtship of Natalia. Although he was rich and famous, he "kind of" did everything at a regular mans pace. Yes he did lavish Natalia with an impromptu getaway, and bought her gifts, but Natalia allowed him to do but so much because she was not with him for the money or the fame. This was just such a great love story. The feelings seemed very real, and not forced as sometime romance novels are. I wouldn't mind reading a follow up with David & Natalia.
