This review is from: Cross Species Transmutation (Audio CD)
malignancy is everything you want to hear in a death band, blast speed, downtuned instruments, insane vocals and lyrics. the first time i heard malignancy was live on wnyu's hellhole, and i was fully quenched by their intencity, ther're definetly underated, but then again some music was made to stay in the dark.

5.0 out of 5 stars more of the same brutality, February 18, 2006
This review is from: Cross Species Transmutation (Audio CD)
Just like the other Malignancy albums, this one is very heavy and killer. i have 3 Malignancy albums and they all crush, you cannot go wrong with an album by this new york band of death metal monsters.
AND i want to tell you about another Malignancy album you need to find AT ALL COST'. a 'split' album Malignancy did in 2002 with a Czech. Death Metal band. The album is - INTERVALLE BIZZARE / MALIGNANCY "Frailty of the Human Condition" on SHINDY PROCUCTIONS. it is the most brutal death metal crush you will ever hear.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you cant handle brutality ? Dont even bother..., July 23, 2006
This review is from: Cross Species Transmutation (Audio CD)
If your thing isn't brutality insted melodic music ? Go somewhere else. Malignancy plays music that is brutal and realy realy loud and truly fast with one talented drummer Mike. Cross species transmutation is pure sick and not for people that enjoy melodic dm such as softie bands like opeth, dark tranquility, daylight dies, children of bodom,archenemy... God cant stand those guitar solor... Anyways, worth in your collection.

If you love your goregrind collection with a deathmetal taste then by all means get malignancy's " cross species transmutation" in your collection because it has all the right elements of gore without being too overly done. I highly recommend.

I hate mortician and i think their a disgrace but Roger beaujard(mortician menber) does a good job as a drummer, even tho he's not the best drummer in the whole freaking world? He still does a good job and makes me wonder why, he bothers with that Poser Will rahmer ( mortician's vocalist) for? Anyways, I got all malignancy's albums and their all good...Make sure you get a copy of "cross species transmutation" because its the last album they worked with Roger beaujard as a drummer. I recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and sick..., May 14, 2004
This review is from: Cross Species Transmutation (Audio CD)
Although this isn't a full-length CD, CROSS SPECIES TRANSMUTATION offers a taste of Malignancy's sound. Top-notch instrumentation and memorable riffs combine with the terrifying,
Cronenbergian lyrics of Danny Nelson, who is one of the best vocalists in the genre.
