This is the nicest cross-stich ornament book that I have ever seen. The designs are beautiful (and some of them just plain cute). The designs range from teddy bears to elegant victorian style snowflakes to a set of 5 nativity themed ornaments. I consider this book a keepsake and I enjoy making one ornament each year or so (the ornament are quite detailed and do take some time to make). I treasure this book and I am even getting a copy for my aunt who I am sure will absolutely love it!

My Aunt and I bought this book together, the year it was first published. We worked through it together and I inherited her copy when she died...You may ask why anyone would want two? Well, now my niece and I are working through it together as I teach her to stitch and we make gifts for this Christmas.
It's got great patterns and nice finishing instructions, it's great.

C. Siegel's book of cross-stitch ornaments is a
delightful addition to the growing library of
volumes dedicated to stitchery. Though some
of her designs are rather uninteresting and
in general, her color choices are bland, overall,
she has created appealing projects. In addition,
she includes step-by-step instructions
for finishing projects, which I found
invaluable. I recommend this book to those
interested in producing attractive holiday
ornaments

Book was received a few days after placing the order. The book was in new condition, and the wife was very happy to receive it.
