Very pretty
Many different designs even though they all fall in the "girlie" category. It is not for beginners, mostly advanced I think.

Sorry, I did not like this book. Big pictures of funny looking people. Only ones nice were for Christmas and it was only like one page. Sorry. Save your money.

I haven't tried any of the designs yet, but the instructions and patterns look clear and easy to follow. Some of the designs are a little too cute for me, but others are beautiful. I didn't care for the "funny-looking people" either, but I liked the cats, the Chinese proverbs, the anniversary, and Eastern promise.

If your a fan designer Joan Elliot, you won't be dissappointed with this book. There are very cute designs for different occasions
