About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Thomas L. Warren is a Fellow of both the Society for Technical Communication and the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing. He has won STC's Gould Award, the Distinguished Service Award from the Council for Programs in Technical and Scientific Communication, and the Horace Hockley Award from the Institute for Scientific and Technical Communicators (England). He is Professor of English and Interim Director (Professional and Technical Writing Program) at Oklahoma State University, where he established the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. programs in technical writing. He is also past president of INTECOM and serves as guest professor at the University of Paderborn, Germany.
