4.0 out of 5 stars Good purchase for the price
This is my first 150 pound crossbow. The wood stock is surprisingly nicely built. The shape is comfortable but is very tough to set. Safety set up is secure but not to my liking. The release should be closer to the trigger area. The scope is good but I like the stock site as the scope setup is bulky and will not take a hard knock and stay sighted. Also, the laser will not...

scope is a bit large for a crossbow, would work well with a firearm, so is a bit of an inconveience. bolts are not 17" as advertized but are 14" bolts for a pistol grip crossbow. String looked used and was badly frayed on both ends. crossbow seems to fire a bit slugishly. therefore im not very impressed and will not be purchacing from this seller in the future. i do not...

Save another $150 and buy a REAL crossbow. This is a cheap lnock-off of a cheap Chinese bow. It doesn't hold up well and it's not even worth buying as an "intro" crossbow.

Also, the laser will not take much of a shock. Over all the crossbow is tough and durable. Stock site is perfect if you dont mind using it. Setting up the scope and laser was easy and sites in on a taget at 120 feet and is very accurate when shooting at the knee or leg area. I have had mine for over a year and it was well worth the money. Aluminum bolts and even the shorter aluminum bolts with non changeable tips are great for target practicing and possums. You better have 2 150 pound cross bows so you can grab the other for a quick backup if your shot was bad.
