I use the C&B mint sauce whenever I serve lamb and it is the best.

Our local supermarket only carries it seasonally - but great lamb is available year round in this modern age.

I was surprised to find that I can purchase the product for less and never have to leave my desk.

My wife loves Crosse & Blackwell Mint Sauce, as do I. We'd usually purchase it at our local grocery store, but I thought I'd see if I could beat the price. I was surprised to find that I can purchase the product for less and never have to leave my desk. The product was very well packaged, arrived quickly enough and is the best Mint Sauce we've found. With the 6 pack we don't be running out, and when I'm on the last bottle, I'll be ordering another box.

If you are a lover of lamb like I am, this is the only sauce you should use!
Again it has become very hard to find with even the British stores not listing it. As usual, Amazon came through with a seller that could deliver. You made a Brit very happy!

Soooo glad I found this online! It has been increasingly difficult to find in our grocery stores and I can't imagine being without it. It is an absolute must with vegetables and lamb. It always surprises me how many people don't know about it, but once they try it they love it. Throw out your mint jelly (ugh )-: and get the "mint" that belongs on your veggies and meat, not on a cracker.

The very best condiment for lamb! Also enhances the flavor of vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower and also rice.

Since Publix Supermarkets do not sell this product anymore, I searched Amazon.com and was able to stock up on this sauce. I don't like the mint jelly.

I found this at a local grocery store when I was disappointed in the quality of their fresh mint I needed for a recipe. I grabbed a bottle of this and a few drops worked beautifully as a substitute.

Since I make a lot of Persian and Mediterranean dishes that call for mint I began experimenting and found the flavor that this imparts to work. To be sure, it is different than with fresh mint or dried mint infused with hot olive oil, but that difference has become my secret ingredient.

The major difference is the sweetness that dominates the flavor profile. There is also a slight amount of sourness in the profile that comes from the malt vinegar, which is one of the main ingredients. The mint flavor is intense, but not overpowering.

Nutritionally a teaspoon is only 5 calories with zero sodium and 1 gram of carbs from the sugar in the blend.

This needs to be refrigerated after opening, but should last at least three months afterwards. Mine have the same intense flavor after that length of time as when first opened.

Since I left England 55 years ago I thought I would never see this product again. If it is mixed with vinegar and sugar and sprinkled over boiled new potatoes it is delicious.
