The La Crosse Technology WS-550US Touch Screen Professional Weather Station monitors a complete range of weather information and is very easy to use with the touch screen LCD. It transmits via a 916.5 MHz transmission with a wireless range up to 400 feet. Data is updated from the outdoor sensors every 2-3 minutes, however, the station has a "live" mode which will transmit data for 20 seconds with 2 second intervals. Mounting hardware for the sensors is included. The weather station displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, wind, rainfall, and weather alarms. It also features the Oscar Outlook forecast icon, barometric pressure graph, and 24-hour temperature graph. Sunrise, sunset and sunshine duration, are displaying and the unit stores 3000 weather data records. Lastly, it comes with a PC interface and software that is USB compatible. This is truly a complete, professional weather station.
