Nice product but there are concerns in accuracy,

I bought this item because I really need to know temperatures and relative humidity for my manufacturing process in my small family business. I followed up the instructions and placed the main unit side by side to the external temperature sensor. The unit has an internal temperature sensor as well. The external temperature sensor showed a difference of 3 to 5 degrees with the temperature of the unit. This difference is big enough to cause trouble in my process. Besides this, the product works nice, it has a clear display and it is easy to use. Since I don't live in the US, the autoadjustment of the time does not work.

Not Bad for the Price,

Hard to read display. A very bad glare. But it is right on terget with the weather. Forecast icons, humidity indicator, comfort level are a nice upgrade for this weather station. The outside senor is works with older La Crosse station. Good overall for the price.

Perfect for the Price,

Everything is relative. This unit is no exception. For the $25 price you can hardly go wrong. Yes, there is a glare but not enough to pass on the price. It does not have all the bells and whistles as the $50 plus stations but it does work and it works fairly well. We have 2 other models going: a really cheap one that shows it and a fairly expensive one and it has a few more bells and whistles. This is the perfect starter station for the folks who want to know about the temperatures and other stuff. I thought after a year or so this would be just another gadget that finds itself in the Goodwill bag or yard sale. It isn't. It has been a dependable friend worth keeping and replacing batteries when necessary.

We had the previous version of this product. The external sensor stopped working because it was exposed to rain and intense afternoon sun in the summer. The cost to replace the sensor was almost as much as buying a new unit, so we bought a new one. The features of the new and the old unit are identical. It gives us the info we are interested in. The only thing I don't like about this unit is that it is a little smaller which means that the display is smaller. We have this hanging on a wall in our kitchen and I can't read the info while sitting at the table. This wasn't an issue with the old unit.

It is a good thing I bought 2 of these. The first one died and would not receive from the outside transmitter.. The second one is working as far as I can tell..

If you have a computer or TV with cable or a dish you'll find no use for this. I find it useless and fustrating, I have to come up to it very close to read it because of its glare.

As another reviewer stated, the glare off the face is bad. Hard to see at different angles. Works well.
