Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

La Crosse Technology's wireless temperature station keeps you dressed and prepared for the weather ahead. The unit monitors indoor temperature, and records minimum and maximum temperatures. A barometric tendency arrow helps crystallize where the weather is going for safer, drier, and sunnier outings, garden work, and home improvement projects. The unit displays three weather icons that indicate what's happening outside presently, and monitors fluctuations in barometric pressure for forecast displays. Hang it on the wall or set it up on a desk with the detachable stand. The station receives data from up to three sensors (extra sensors sold separately).

Product Description

Monitor indoor and outdoor temperature and weather forecast using this Wireless Temperature Station.

2.0 out of 5 stars Get what you pay for, July 30, 2006
This review is from: La Crosse Technology WS-7211U Wireless Temperature Station (Kitchen)
This unit is a bit of a dissapointment. My bad I went for price. Resetting time temp is not easy or intuitive. Keep the instrcutions handy. The remote sensor which I had about 20 feet away phases in and out. Spend more on a better unit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Multiple location temperature reading, November 23, 2007

This review is from: La Crosse Technology WS-7211U Wireless Temperature Station (Kitchen)
I use this model with 3 remote sensors. One sensor measures outdoor ambient, while the other two sensors are in the crawl space under the house, in near proximity to water lines at extremities. If under-house temp ever gets to approx 35F, I'll start a water drip at the faucet.

Accuracy is so-so. At worst, actual temp will be within 2F of measured value.

In the summer, I'll replace batteries and put one sensor in the attic.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality for a big bucks, September 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: La Crosse Technology WS-7211U Wireless Temperature Station (Kitchen)
This is the second LaCrosse Technology thermometer I have owned, and both were bad. I should have learned the first time. The worst of it; it's near impossible to gain satisfactory support from LaCrosse Technology. I'd stick my money in a simple dial thermometer, its cheaper, and more accurate. After two different units this company is done!
