Love our atomic clock. 2nd lacross product and very pleased. Very easy to set up and has been running perfectly since christmas. Love how you get all the info you need in one place (time temp in/out, date and weather forecast.

My husband and I recieved this clock as a Christmas gift last year and absolutely love it! I am purchasing 2 to give as gifts myself this year. We have had no operating problems with the clock. To avoid inaccurate temp readings, place the outside sensor on a north facing wall under and eave or somewhere that will not get any sun. Also, if the clock gets alot of sun indoors it can show an unusually high indoor temp. Just locate your clock accordingly.

I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about. I have owned this clock/weather forcaster for several months now and have never had any problems with it. I am amazed how accurate the weather forcaster is, it's better than the evening news weather....haha.
The clock is awesome, it sets itself. I also love the big display. I have recommended this to several of my friends.

I love this clock. The time and temperature features are nice to have. It is great to have an accurate clock that I never have to set. At one glance we can tell what the temperature is both inside and outside.
My only complaint is that the Weather Forcast feature is a little confusing. It only has 3 icons which indicate either that the weather is getting better, getting worse, or staying the same (whatever that means!?!) and arrows up or down for an increase in pressure. The icons themselves are misleading. A picture of a sun means that weather is expected to improve (not that it will be sunny). A sun with clouds icon means that weather is expected to be fair (not that the weather will be sunny with clouds). And an icon showing clouds with rain coming down means the weather is expected to get worse (not that it will rain).

Received the La Crosse Digital Wall Clock in just a few days and it works great, just what I ordered, put the outdoor sensor under the garage roof overhang and it gives and accurate temp.

The La Crosse Digital Walll Clock I ordered (WS-8157U) is excellent. It arrived safely and in good time. Their customer service was very helpful in getting the clock regulated.

This thing really saves me from change the clock on transition between day light saving time and regular time. And now I have a clock which is always accurate so I can check other clocks in my house against with.

Just to respond to some reviewers' comments on temperature sensor issue - you have to READ AND FOLLOW the instruction. Initially the outdoor sensor didn't work well. After reading the instruction I found I didn't power on the main clock and the sensor in the right order. Now it's perfect. I love it!! It's an excellent gift.

I bought 3 of these as xmas gifts, and everyone really liked them. I set one up to see what it was like. The atomic signal was picked up that evening, the temp seemed pretty accurate it was w/i 1 degree of my other digital thermometer (i dont know how accurate that one is however). The display is pretty large, and easy to read. For a useful sub $50 gift, you cant go wrong with one of these.
