Good weather station. It has all features you want for day to day home use, especially during winter.

Pros : Self setting clock, Weather Forecast Icon, Temp. and Humidity readings for both Indoor and Outdoor, Good long range remote sensor, Time and Temp. projection on the ceiling, Temp. reading in both deg. C and deg. F (I am comfortable with deg. C, so was...

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry I purchased
I purchased this with one sensor, but when I hooked it up it seemed to see 2 different sensors, which is a problem the cheesy little manual or website FAQ's don't seem to answer. I restarted (per instructions) this unit about 10 times and never was able to get the second sensor to not show up.

That in itself wasn't the end of the world, but when I tried to...

C, so was looking mainly for this feature)

Cons : Can't change the direction of projection, it is always on the ceiling.

Can't change the date format, it is in (MM/DD), can be changed to DD/MM, only if you change the time in 24 hrs format.

Display panel size is small.

I have been using this for past one month, so far so good !!

This was purchased to give as a gift because we've had one for a year or so and can't live without it! It does it all, the quality is great and checking temps, forecasts, etc. becomes somewhat addictive. We use this clock as the one by which all clocks in the house are set.

I purchased the LaCrosse weather station with a gift certificate in December. The first unit I got I could not get the station to read the remote sensor. I had to send it back--at my expense. I think that wasn't such a great thing. It was their problem, they should have paid for the shipping. But, oh well. The new station is working great. It pretty much agrees with weather.com. It may vary by a couple of degrees. We like the projection feature. We use the station in our bedroom and, though it says it can project up to six feet, it actually does much more than that, as we have high, vaulted ceilings in our bedroom.

I like the fact that it connects to the atomic clock, so that I can always know at least one clock in the house is right! And, despite other reviews that I read, so far my batteries have lasted over a month. I'm pleased with that. I think it was a good buy. Overall, I am happy with the weather station.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry I purchased, January 12, 2007

I purchased this with one sensor, but when I hooked it up it seemed to see 2 different sensors, which is a problem the cheesy little manual or website FAQ's don't seem to answer. I restarted (per instructions) this unit about 10 times and never was able to get the second sensor to not show up.

That in itself wasn't the end of the world, but when I tried to call Customer Service there was simply a busy signal, so if you are looking for phone support forget it.

So I e-mailed a detailed description to the help desk, I explained where precisely the sensors were located (I moved them 4 times to test better locations and described all that), how many times I restarted the unit (per instructions), the batteries I used, and what process I used to reset the unit (per the instructions). I took a week for them to get back to me and all they did was send me a form letter asking questions that I already answered. If that wasn't bad enough, they advised a few more "tips" to make sure this weather station restart properly, including buying only brand name batteries with an expiration 4 years in the future and pressing one of the stations buttons something like 20 times to make sure the memory "cleared" during restart. OH, and make sure the outdoor sensor (supplied with a "rain cover") was kept out of the rain. I'm glad I didn't buy the wind speed monitor cause I would have had a hard time keeping it out of the wind!! When I stopped laughing I sent them an e-mail telling them what I really thought, but of course have gotten nothing in return.

So customer service is a joke, I was half tempted to send this junk back but I paid less than $70 for it and it seems to sense outside temp and humidity OK and I think I am guessing at which sensor is really mine. If it stops working I'll just toss it out. I spent hours on it already, and won't waste any more time on it.

This was a bad purchase, if I ever buy another it wont' be from these guys, if for no other reason than their non-existant customer service.

3.0 out of 5 stars Weather station, September 15, 2005

Works almost accurate .I love the projection of outdoor temp and time during night which is the coolest feature of this weather station . I recommend buying this . I donot know how long it will last as the first one had some problem and I returned to amazon.I bought it because it has all the feature of expensive weather station .In other words its a complete weather station .If it works well then its really a good value for the money.

The worst is the customer service as there is no one who pick up the phone and they donot have tool free number.
