I bought it in February this year. It worked fine until this month. But suddenly it stopped working. I called their customer service several times but I never got the chance to talk to a live person. Instead I was directed to a voice mail and "hoping" someone will call me back. I also sent them an email but up to today no one contacted me yet. So if you buy one then good luck and hope it will work. Otherwise you will end up like me, waiting just to get any response from them. Their customer service really sucks.

I have baseboard heaters in a condo and I need to know the temp and humidity in each room so that I don't spend a fortune on electricity. These are perfect. It give me a rh and temp for every room that I have it in. The round wire ones did not work these do. I love them.

In this price range I don't expect scientific precision--just an idea of the conditions in my orchid growing area. This nice little unit has done just that. I like the max/min feature too, but wish it were integrated with a clock feature which showed the time of day these conditions occurred.

I'm back to buy another one for a different room.

I bought this unit about 2 years ago from a local store and recently attempted to calibrate it and 2 other hygrometers I have in my home. Ironically, I had considered it (for no logically reason) the most accurate one to which I had been comparing the others. As it turned out, it was the most inaccurate one of the bunch. Using the salt water calibration technique in a sealed bag, all hygrometers should read 75%. One of mine read 74%, one read 62% and this one read 55% !!! Even considering this isn't the most accurate calibration it's pretty good and was reproducible when I tried it again.
I'm fairly certain that another sample may well fair better I wouldn't be tempted to buy this again.

VERY satisfied with the performance of this meter. Have been looking for a Relative Humidity meter for some time that was accurate and durable. The temperature is also included which is great. Price is VERY good for what you get !!!

I am a Field Engineer that works on Medical Imaging equipment. For 20 years I have purchased temp/humidity guages to monitor the rooms in which our equipment was being used. As environmental conditions are very important to our equipment, it is crucial that I have an accurate and reliable guage in which to rely. I have bought so many different guages over the years that I couldn't begin to list them. But, by far, I have found these guages to be the most accurate, most reliable, easy to read guages period. For much higher costs you can find guages that will not be even close to the accuracy on Relative Humidity. I have compared these units to themselves, other guages, and to EXTREMELY expensive high end Relative Humidity sensors (costing nearly $1,000) and have found them to be within about 2% most of the time. Of coarse, as with any electronic device there has been one here or there that died prematurely or just wasn't accurate. But who knows how the device was handled before I bought it. I have bought other brands of sensors that started out ok, but became extremely unreliable within months. I have had other guages that were never reliable at all. I have seen some guages that were off on humidity by 20% or more. But in the few years that I have been using these guages, I have not had these problems. I think they are also very attractive compared to most units. The batteries also seem to last a pretty long time.

With the very dry seasons we have had, monitoring indoor humidity has become a necessity. With The Weather Channel WS-9410TWC Indoor Comfort Meter, I know when to turn on my cool mist humidifier and when to turn it off. I love the little smiley face when the humidity level is good and the little frowny face when the humidity level is not good. It's just what I needed!!

I purchased this for my daughter's room. So far it has been a very good product. It has a nice big display so it's easier to see at night. The read out seems to be pretty accurate. I have another brand and they both had the same reading in the room.

The weather meter shows temperature and moisture level in a room. It has a large digital display that I can see across the room. I don't know about the temperature; but the moisture level number "seems" to kind-of match what is shown in my humidifier.

The bottom line is that it is cheap and good, and I bought two of them -- one in each floor.

The meter works well even in west Texas. The meter confirmed that the A/C thermostat was not adjusted correctly. I even ordered one for my daughter in college to see why it felt so humid in the dorm room. The reviews were right on and I would recommend this product.
