Gave this item to relatives with a new winter home in Colorado high snow country where they are always anxious about the temperatures, winds and wind chill factors. It was a great hit. Set it up with a temporary installation until somone could install the wind device high on the house and all worked well and very accurate with inside and outside temps and wind velocities. Only drawback is when you change batteries there is no memory so you have to reset everything and synchronize the outdoor sensors. I want one also.

This is a terrific, economical weather station. Of course, one could spend several hundred dollars more and get somewhat broader and more precise capabilities. But this unit does a terrific job for the cost. It's easy to set up and synchronize and seems to produce temperature and humidity results that are very accurate when compared to both another thermometer as well as a nearby "broadcasting" weather station.

If I have any complaints about this unit, they would be...1. I wish there was an easy way to shorten the phone cord that connects the outdoor wind sensor to the broadcasting temperature-humidity sensor. They must give you about 30 feet of cord, which is a pain to deal with in a "neat" installation...2. I wish the wind sensor broadcast in real-time rather than just once per minute. But, after all it is an inexpensive unit...and 3. The weather forecasting icons are of questionable accuracy. The unit would be just as good without that feature.

Overall, the unit is well worth the cost and easy to install, synchronize and get working.

Almost a great device.

After several attempts to get the windspeed to work it still fails to function. The rest of the unit works fine. I did find it frustrating to re-enter time and date after every attempt to sync with the wind speed monitor.

I checked all connections, read and followed the manual precisely. It simply does not function.

I'm sure it's a case of dumb luck that my unit does not work. However, keep your receipts folks =).

This wireless weather station works really nicely. It gives lots of information: temperature indoors and out, moon phase, humidity both indoors and out, wind speed, time and date and whether a change in the weather is coming (pressure increasing or decreasing). I have had no problems with it to date and would buy it again. I really like it and look at it several times each day.

This item is an excellent choice for your desk at home. It is very easy to install and it is small enough so it doesn't take up a lot of room on the top of your desk. Yet the display numbers are large enough to read clearly.

We bought this product based on the reviews read, and we agree with the comments of previous buyers. Easy installation and set up. We are very satisfied and for less than $80 it is an excellent deal.

I researched this item with the manufacturer's website, and was pleased to find that Amazon had the same item, including the wind accessory, for a much better price! The item arrived in a very timely manner, right before Christmas, and my husband was thrilled. I wish I had known that the wind cups had to be mounted on the roof, because that was a challenge, but the unit works great and we are having a lot of fun with it.

I bought this item as a gift for my wife, and she just loves it. The set-up and installation was very easy, and has been reliable from the start. When I was looking at weather stations, I was initially interested in getting one that received a five day forecast broadcast automatically. Fortunately someone recommneded that I view the coverage area first, and you guessed it, I couldn't receive the broadcast from my home. So, I ended up getting this weather station and I'm well satisfied with it. I recommend that if you are looking at one of those that receives an automatic forecast signal check the manufacturer's web site for coverage, the coverage isn't as broad as you might think!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loved it! He installed it right away and is constantly checking the wind speed. I like knowing what the humidity is in the house, and the little face smiles when it is in the confort zone. I highly recommend this product!

very happy with this product, especially for the price. Feel that the night backlight could be better, but a good station, nonethelesss.
