Top Drawer Aussie Music,

I reckon the key to all good songs or albums for me is the "sound". This album has it in spades. Great guitar and a 70's retro sound through it, or what I remember the 70's pop sound to be.
There is not a bum track on this excellent album from this Sydney band and I think it should do well if released in a major market. I can't help feeling that the world misses out on so much good stuff from Australia because we are so small in the global market. This deserves a great deal of success, but most likely will not be seen or heard outside this country. Pity really. Cheers nonetheless.

This is one of those albums that you just keep going back to, the pseudo-70's sound makes it timeless. highly recommended

All a Lie,
By Baldee "the bald one" (Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Crossed Lines (Audio CD)
Well-crafted, multi-layered and melodic. This is the kind of album which is both listenable and yet keeps giving on succeeding plays (for instance, I'm only now starting to realise how neatly put together the intro the track titles "All is a lie"). This is the case for most tracks -- furthermore, you catch yourself humming snatches of a song quite often. Much played in the vdS household.
