Perfection,

Buddahead is amazing. Not only does the album absolutely rock, but the guys are ridiculous live. They bring/put this energy and passion into their music that is just so rare. I highly recommend this album to anyone who is looking for some genuine rock.

You are in the right place; you will not be disappointed! This work of art is comprised of powerful, heartfelt lyrics, a soaring rock sound and the amazing voice of Raman Kia. Backed up by compelling life experiences, this album takes the listener to places few singer/songwriters can go (check out the biography section on the website) The distinctive melodic first single "When I Fall" will have you hooked from beginning to end! HIGHLY recommended!

I saw Buddahead at the Tribeca Rock Club. That's where I bought the best cd ever! The vocals are magnificent. The entire band got the crowd going and packed the place. It was a great show and the cd is well worth the money.

In a word - wow,

I bought this album after seeing Buddahead a while ago. They were awesome live and really got the crowd going, so I thought buying their album seemed like a good thing to do. Good? It's one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life! This album is full of gems such as 'Strong', 'Invisible' 'When I Fall' and my personal favourite 'Broken'. Enough upbeat tracks to counteract the melancholy ones, but all somehow manage to tug at the heartstrings. A truly magnificent album displaying how indie music should be done!!

WARNING!!! This is NOT BuddaheadS !!!,

What are the chances two VERY different groups would come up with virtualy the same unusual name; the only differance being one is the plural form of the other? It would seem the answer is 100%, as that is what has happened here! I bought this cd thinking it was Buddaheads, a high octane, killer blues/rock group in the vein of Hendrix, Trower,or SRV. What I got was Buddahead; a lightweight, pop type group. Apparently amazon is as clueless as I was because they have this cd grouped with Lance Lopez, another kickass blues/rocker. Since fans of either group are very unlikely to care for the music of the other, this warning works both ways. Amazon: try to do something to avoid this confusion in the future so someone else isn't stuck with a cd they don't like.

This is without a doubt one of the best pop rock albums ever put out. There is something sooooooo comfortable, yet deliciously inventive about these well-crafted, multi-faceted songs. The vocals are superb. The instrumentation flawless. You'll certainly find yourself singing along to some tunes, while at other times getting lost in thought and wondering how you managed to survive this long without the wonderfulness that is Buddahead. Do yourself a solid and pick this up immediately.

This is NOT "The Buddaheads" and it ain't BLUES!,

I can make this short and not so sweet: Do not be fooled, this is not "The Buddaheads" who play great blues! It came up in my recommendations because I recently bought the CD "Howlin' at the Moon" which is a fabulous blues album. Whatever you think of this group "Buddahead" it definitely does not belong in anyone's "Blues" collection. So, buyer beware!

This release is something of a departure from others ... although I enjoyed the CD I guess I'm more used to the Buddaheads rocking the house.... but it has a place in my growing library.....

They're as great in person as they are on CD,
This review is from: Crossing the Invisible Line (Audio CD)
Over the years, I've come across many bands and artists that are extremely talented - on the cd, that is, but not live. However, Buddahead is not one of them. I've seen them in person live at a small cafe here in Philadelphia and they are nothing less than amazing! After the show, my friends and I approached them and they were very friendly. Many bands who have a "cd out" are way too arrogant and self-centered to even talk to fans like me and like I said, Buddahead's not one of them. If you have the time, check them out on Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/buddahead) and go to one of their live shows! The one I went to was free, but even if there was a fee, it would've been worth it.
